Question about Kenmore 62702 Microwave Oven
I PRESSED DINNER PLATE. IT STARTED UP BUT SHUT OFF AND THE INSIDE LIGHT WENT OFF. A MESSAGE CAME ON THE SCREEN THAT SAID F-3H . THE POWER STILL COMES ON , BUT LIGHTS WILL NOT WORK AND WILL NOT HEAT UP.
F3H is a humidity sensor error.
The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again. If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.
If it still fails, you have a bad sensor.
You can usually find exploded views and order parts by entering your model number at the Sears parts site.
There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.
