Does anyone know what is wrong with my front loader when it will not fill with water. It tries to fill but nothing happens and then it stops. I have checked all filters and hoses to make sure and they are fine

It will be one of 2 things, a faulty inlet solenoid or an electronic controller issue, If you have a multimeter you can test the voltage supplied to the inlet solenoid and if there is voltage being supplied the valve is faulty, if there is no voltage then it is the electronics.

Your water pressure may be a liitle too high for the machine to handle. Try turning the water valves for the hot and cold water down a bit to reduce the pressure and try it again.

SOURCE: How do i clean a filter of a whirlpool awm 5080 front loader

If you are talking about the drain pump strainer, you need to remove the lower front panel. should be 3 screws on the bottom facing forward. Once you have that off, the pump strainer is almost in the center, facing you. unscrew it counterclockwise to remove.

Leaking water from a whirlpool AWM - 293 front loader

I too have this model machine. The leak in my case traced to the fill up hose that attaches to the drum. The seal at this point seems to be a weak point and requires either a replacement that will only last another couple of years or you could try what I did.

I removed the rubber hose from the drum. Dried and cleaned it thoroughly. placed a fair bit of sealant (silcone) on both parts and reassembled and let sit for a couple of days till it cured. This will need to be redone in about 3 years (that is my average- have owned it for 10years).

Whirlpool awm 8125/3 fault code FH

Probably too late, but here it goes:
FH means some cicle is taking too long time.
Replace the inlet electrical valve. It probably wont open enough and the water flow is not enough to fill to level in time. This should cost you 10€ and is easily done by anyone.
Just remove the top of the machine (two bolts on the rear and slide to the back), disconnect the valve (electrical and water input and output), push the lockers and twist the valve free.

Washing cycle starts and takes hours even for short cycle.

Try checking for good water supply.
Pull out detergent tray and check for good water supply during filling.
if poor filling-
Try checking the hoses.
Turn taps off, disconnect from machine, place hose end in sink, turn tap on and check for good water flow.
if the hose has a red indicator in the side of the hose (end which is fitted to the tap) - Red indicator is a failed hose.(for models with Water Stop hose type "B")
