this was the closest product to what I own. I am having a problem downloading pictures from my camera. Everything is installed correctly however I get an error message saying that there is a memory error. It has worked previously. I just put new batteries in the camera, it will take pictures, if I use it as a web cam it works fine. I just can't download the pics I have taken.

If you are using External Memmory card, then take it out and format it using a PC & Card-Reader and then re-insert it and try. If it is not working still now, then try another memory card.
If you are not using external data storage devices then try to 'Reset' your camera, if you have an option like that.
