There is a "hold" button on the device that works like a key lock on your cell phone.
Find the hold button and switch it to the other position and you will be able to use your device normally.
Once you have put your CD player in a mode that you want, then you switch the hold button on so that you won't accidentally hit any buttons. You can then safely put the CD player in a pocket and not have to worry about it.
my sl-sv550 portable cd player it is...Answermy sl-sv550 portable cd player it is not switching on i want this model schematic diagram i think power supply stage faulty I went to panasonic service center in bangalore (INDIA) told that not possible this model not sold in INDIA please give me the support
as i read the specification on this model, it is not possible to remove power totally from the cd player and then power up and continue. (ignition is in your car ?)
But, you can connect power to the cd player, after the ignition switch. Normally this supply is available behind the standard car radio. You can use a standard 12 volt (depends on you car supply voltage) bulb to search for the correct wire.
Often this information are also available in the instruction book for the car.
