TI-82 How do I enter a problem and get the answer but I want to go back and change some of the numbers to get another answer. Example:(24/1.06)+(20/1.06)=answer-$250=Answer. Once this happens, how can I go back to the problem and change the percentages to get another answer, instead of having to redo the problem over and over again.

Mixed numbers

If the result is positive, type in the integer part then add the fraction part either with the help of the fraction key or the division key. (I do not think that the TI82 has a fraction key.
If it is anything like the TI3 there is command under MATH >Frac. It should be pressed after you enter the mixed number to keep the result as a fraction.
If the mixed number is negative you enclose the whole number in parentheses. Press the change sign (-) key to negate the result.

How do i enter 10 to the power of -6 on a texas TI-82

Be sure to use the (-) key (just to the right of the decimal point) to enter the negative exponent, not the - key you use for subtraction.

From the lack of a response I assume this is no longer a problem. If it is still a problem, please post a comment specifying the error message.

I own a old TI-82 graphing calculaor and i was wondering where the +/- button was because i need to figureout an equation with a negitive in it and i cant find the button!!!!

Well, there are 2 ways, the easy way and the hard way, and I will give both.

EASY: the [+/-] button should be near the [ENTER] button
"HARD": type in "0" and then subtract the number that you want negatave and "FixYa!"
P.S. If this solved your problem please rate it as best answer.
