Question about Midland Radio Communications
I have two Midland GXT-400 radios with BATT-5R battery packs. When the battery packs are installed, the units vibrate incessantly. When I use AA batteries, the units work fine. I don't understand what is happening here. When the battery packs fully discharge, the vibration stops, but when I put the units with the batteries in the charger, the vibration resumes. Any ideas?
Hello pjbracht, I just responed to a duplicate of your problem. If they are new, return the battiers and confirm they are "by the book" replacements. If so ask for replacemrnts with a higher mAhr. It is not correct for vibration from a battery pack, lead, NiCad, Ni-MH, period.
