SOURCE: Can;t open or recognize my JPG images. have

put one of the pics on your desktop, and click once on it, so that it is highlighted. Then right-click on it and choose 'open with' and your nikon software that came on the cd should be installed, so pick that if you can see it. You could also use tiff viewer, internet explorer, paint or other programs depending on which version of windows you have.

How to edit Media Center Recordings

Easiest FREE way I've found to edit Recordings made in Windows Media Center is done using Windows Live Movie Maker (Part of the Windows Live Essentials Free Downloads)
I have found that there is some technique involved in making successful edits of the recording.
  1. Open the recording you want to edit in Movie Maker, click save and name the save file what you wish (This file just stores your edit markers and makes no changes to the original recording)
  2. Since most recordings have some overlap, you first need to find the actual beginning and end of the recording, under tools, mark the start and end points using the buttons labeled as such. Click SAVE
  3. Editing the commercials is done in a similiar manner. Browse thru the recording to the start point of the commercial, under tools, click the SPLIT button, then browse to the end of the commercial segment, click split again. (This separates a the commercial portion from the rest of the recording) Right click the commercial segment, Click Delete on the drop down menu and that commercial is deleted (Note the run time is adjusted to the removal point) Click save and repeat on all other commercials.
  4. Once editing is complete, you should have about 22 minutes for a half hour show or 43 minutes for an hour show. Click Save
  5. Here is where I drove myself crazy till I learned the trick. Once edits are saved, CLOSE movie Maker. I don't know exactly why, but I spent a week learning that no matter what I did, 90% of the time when I tried to create movie, movie maker would LOCK UP. Trial and error eventually proved that if I made my edits, then Saved and closed Movie Maker. The re-opened Movie Maker and opened the edit file, that I could then Create Movie successfully every attempt. Click File, Create Movie, and choose your format. (I use widescreen) Saving process is slow, about the length of the show or 1% per minute. This creates a .WMV file about 1/3 the size of the original.
  6. If you want to compress the file even more you can use an encoder to convert the file from WMV to a compressed format (I prefer AVI) I use SUPER © from Erightsoft.com

HI I NEED TO KNOW WHERE MY ASUS WEBCAM PICS AUTOMATICLY SAVE TO,, I WANT TO UPLOAD THEM TO A WEBSITE AND CANT FIND THEM.

I suggest you capture a image and give it a filename you can remember and save it. If you cannot see the file location where this image is saved to, then click on Start - Search and search on the filename of the image file you have just saved and the Search will display the location of the image file. This location will also where your other image files are stored.

If it is not an attached file then just right clck on image and choose the option save as.Save the file(picture).
2.Now open your facebook acount. Here you have an option photo .Just click on it,It will open a small box wit option upload a photo and will ask for the image location with option browse (in your case it will be desktop). Just provide the image location and once done just choose the option share. You are done.
Hope this works for you.Let me know if you have further problems.

How do I Copy pictures from a file on my external HD then place in folder on desk top. Then I want to add labels to various area's of picture. Im trying to make howto notes for future referece.

There are programs such as Photoshop that allow you to add text to images/photos.
I suggest that you make a copy of the image/photo file and make changes to the copy. If you make a mistake and ruin the copy, you can always make a copy from the original and start again.

My Pictures glitch

you have more than enough hardware setup to enjoy your pictures... maybe your camera is going to sleep mode during transfer? check your battery and make sure your camera can sustain the time to transfer all your picture from cam to computer.

don't upload directly from camera... save the images in your pc first then upload from your pc.

depending on needs... if you just want to show pictures online, not for printing... i would suggest to create a duplicate and resize the duplicate image so that you have smaller files during upload... this will speed up the speed significantly.
