My blackberry shows SIM not allowed:3 What do I do? It also has SOS next to the mobile network symbol

Hi is your blackberry mobile not accepting your 3 network sim in it this might happen if your phone is locked to some other network provider then it wont accept 3 network sim until you unlock it ..SOS on the screen signifies that the phone will allow only emergency calls ...You can easily unlock your phone using online providers like UnBBLock.com here they are rendering network unlock code for all blackberry mobile models at reliable cost ...You first check that whether the code is available for your mobile model ,country and network provider .If yes then pay for it and unlock your phone then freely use it with any GSM sim ...

My Mobile Network reads SOS

switch off your blackberry, remove the back cover and battery, and remove the sim card. Replace it after about one minute and it should not read SOS anymore.
If it still reads SOS, insert your sim card into another cellphone to see if it also reads SOS in a different phone. If it does, you need to call the company you bought the sim card from.
Eg; if it's an MTN sim card, call MTN; if it's Vodacom, call Vodacom etc.

your blackberry device needs to have the network selection set to automatic.........whats happening is when you get out of range of your home network you end up going SOS....this means that there is absolutely no service available and only emergency calls will go through. This is what you must do.
GO to the Connections menu..(thats the one that looks like an antenna tower) select your network settings and change them to automatic to allow your device to roam......and remember, no matter what plan you have with your service provider and no matter who you call or when the call is made you will be using your anytime minutes.......thats how they say no roaming charges....they just deduct a min from your bucket instead of applying an additional dollar amount. You should be good from here on out.
GOOD LUCK AND PLS RATE THIS POST!!!!!!
