How to remove memory card my n73

The memory card slot for Nokia N73 is located at the bottom of the keypad just above the charger connector.
  1. Before you eject the card, press the power key, and select Remove mem. card. All applications are closed.
  2. When Remove memory card and press 'OK' is displayed, open the door of the memory card slot.
  3. Press the memory card to release it from the slot.

Do not remove the memory card in the middle of an operation when the card is being accessed. Removing the card in the middle of an operation may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the card may be corrupted.

Everytime I turn on my Nokia N73 Music Edition, the message "memory is full" displays on the screen where in no message, pic or music is stored in my cp. please help me format my cp. tnx

Possible that the phone has hung up because there are errors in the software or the memory card. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.

My nokia n70 mmc problem this said all mmc are corrupted new and old

probably corrupted by virus, remove your MMC (memory card) and try to Virus Scanned to any PC with updated Anti-Virus softwares, remove harmful viruses/malwares then put it back to your CP. If still not working, try to reformat your MMC in your N70..... go to setting for Format options...

Nokia N73 support on several niggling problems

Hello there. The anti-virus programs available today for n73 ****, meaning they're almost useless.

What you need to do is format your phone memory. That'll get rid of all viruses stored, and probably fix that "restart" problem you've been having (unless it's a hardware problem). Remove your memory card before you do so first.

To format
  1. turn phone off.
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
After you've formatted your phone memory, all viruses will be gone, and it'll be functioning a lot smoother than before.

Next, you've got to scan your memory for viruses by hooking it up to a computer, and then use that computer's anti-virus (has to be updated) to eliminate all those pesky viruses.

Then you could also run a "scan disk" using the computer's "scan disk" feature to make fix any errors on the memory card. You could also choose to defrag the mem card if you like, just to make it respond faster.

As for the loose memory card slot, you're going to have to bring it to a technician to have it fixed. Shouldn't be that expensive.

Or you could put a small piece of tape on it, that is if you feel like getting primitive. :)

Let me know how it goes

Use only miniSD cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Nokia utilizes the approved industry standards for memory cards but not all other brands may function correctly or be fully compatible with this device.
Use only compatible miniSD cards with this device. Other memory cards, such as Reduced Size MultiMediaCards, do not fit in the memory card slot and are not compatible with this device. Using an incompatible memory card may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the incompatible card may be corrupted.
Press menu and select Tools > Memory. You can use a compatible miniSD card as extra storage space and for backing up the information in the device memory.
To back up information from the device memory to a compatible memory card, select Options > Backup phone mem.
To restore information from the compatible memory card to the device memory, select Options > Restore from card.
To eject the memory card, press , and select Remove mem. card.
Important: Do not remove the memory card in the middle of an operation when the card is being accessed.
Removing the card in the middle of an operation may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the card may be corrupted.
