Every time I need Adobe Reader it says: "Invalid plugin detected. Adobe reader will quit." How can I fix this?

Go to Control Panel - Add Remove programs and remove Acrobat Reader. Then reboot your computer and open Internet Explorer and Google search the latest version of Acrobat Reader (version 9), then download and install it.

Aobe won't let me use user guide

What version is the Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer? If it is version 9 and you are trying to see the user guide from within a browser window (like Internet Explorer), you will have problems because of a known issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader 9. If the above is true, you will need to uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 and install Adobe Acrobat Reader version 8.1.3
(Click Here) to download for version 8.1.3. If you are unsure how th uninstall version 9 and install version 8.1.3, please post a response to this an I will give you details based on your operating system.

Links to Named Destinations Not Working

Ensure Acrobat 8 is fully updated (up through 8.1.4). Office 2007 support starts with Acrobat 8.1.0.

Some things to consider.

PDFMaker does not/cannot convert a file set as the target file for either a URI/URL or a UNC link path.

I have the adobe acrobat 8 professional but have lost my serial number for it.My wife trashed the package by mistake.

Hi Ramind,
The only thing I can tell to you is that you should contact Adobe Service Support for getting help. If you cannot succeed to obtain a new serial number by this way, you should consider downloading Adobe Reader 8 or 9, which are all free.
Sorry, but I cannot help you more than that.

Each time I click Acrobat Reader 5.0, I get a message "There is a problem with Adobe Reader. Please exit and try again". As soon as I exit, the system works. I am using Windows Vista SP1.

I don't believe that Acrobat Reader 5 is compatible with Windows Vista. You really should update to the newest version, which is 9.

You should be able to get it here.
