Hi Ciza24, the master! Major problem- - I'm a pretty knowledgeable user, but I'm stuck! Brand new Touch, needed to be upgraded to v.2. Hung mid-process, didn't work. Had to reset the touch. Got the message, "discovered itouch in recovery mode." But it wouldn't restore - got an error. Reset again. Now, iTunes doesn't see the Touch at all -- on the Touch screen just the itunes/USB/arrow icons. No combination of restarting, resetting, etc will get iTunes to see the Touch. Updated iTunes to latest version. What else can I try???? thank you!!!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

Your battery is draining too fast . There is some problem with the internal battery .Since it is brand new I will prefer you to go to apple service center to get your itouch repaired . Some products will be having these kind of problem . Apple will replace it .
Hope this helps .
Some speaker systems which are only compatible for charging the ipod nanos and classics do not work with the iPod Touch and the iPhone, the internals are slighly different from one another which will not allow that speaker system to charge your iTouch.
To play & Charge your touch, i suggest getting a speaker system that supports the iPod touch platform.
Not sure how many users on set up on your pc, but if you and your husband have different user accts, yours may not be able to restore using your log in.
There's a lot of good information and steps to try on the link above. If it doesn't work, you can always try going to an apple store and sitting at the "genius bar" (no kidding...that's what they call it.). Good luck
