Code for phillips rc 1445302 remote (fios universal remote) to operate a vizio tv
Last time I had to do this the tech person told me to use codes for a completely different tv model and I just can't seem to remember which to use. none of the codes that come with the remote work nor any of the 10 that vizio tech support came up with.

Your Philips remote is universal so you can use its code search feature to find something that can handle some or all functions of your Vizio TV. If a search through all codes stored in the remote fails, you may have to try a different universal remote. All universal remotes do not store all possible codes.
Your Philips remote is universal so you can use its "code search" feature to find a suitable code. The codes are stored in the remote. If a thorough search does not produce a code, you may have to try another universal remote because not ll codes are stored in all remotes.
Codes to check with Vizio TV are: 0891, 0912, 1783
Look up your TV make in the TV code listing on the other side of this sheet. 2. Circle the first 4-digit number displayed for your make of TV. 3. Turn on your TV. 4. Press and hold the TV key. 5. While holding down the TV key, press the OK key. 6. Release both keys. The Device Keys will blink twice. 7. Enter the 4-digit TV code you circled. The TV key will blink 3 times. 8. To test to see if this was the correct code, point the remote at your TV and press Power. If the TV turns off, you have successfully programmed your remote.
If the TV did not turn off, repeat all the steps with the next code in the list. 10. For future reference, underline the code that worked for you. Note: If some of the keys on the remote do not operate your TV as you would expect, then you can try the next code in the list for your brand of TV.
If those codes dont work try the last three(or four) numbers of your TV's serial number.
On my universal remote is just a matter of holding down the TV button till the light stays on, then punching in the three digit TV code. When the TV turns off it's the right code. But read your manual for your controller.
there is no code for olevia.....(olevia, vizio and dynex are really new) All universals are not yet ready for theses new flat panels.............but you can use olevias remote (rc-ltu) it controls five units (cable box, olevia tv, pioneer laser disc and toshiba dvd plus a vcr if i had one)
Go on the Verizon website and request a new remote, the Verizon P265 Remote model. It will have all the newest firmware and it should have the code. I know this because I had a TCL 32" TV and the code wasn't on my old Philips RC 1445302 model. TV and new remote are "talking" just fine now. Verizon won't even want the old one back.
