I have an E521, I run 3GB on it no problem. Have you used a matched pair? ensure that they are securely seated? Ensure you have not pull a cable off your graphics card. Finally, remove all memory, and try one stick at a time, if it works with one add the other matched one, and so on. You can tell if they are matched, a pair will have the same number on it. Hope this helps. lolleypop

Yes I would have thought so. The blue screen is most likely caused by some memory. If it was working ok before installing the new memory, then it is either the new memory, or a faulty memory slot on the motherboard

Blue screen error acer desk top

hi friend the blue screen comes when there is a 1:hardware problem
2:virus problem
3:Installation Disk is corrupted
4:RAM problem

First, check your CD and clean or replace it as necessary. Your next step should be to test your system memory for errors with a diagnostic program.
To do this obtain the Windows Memory Diagnostic or Memtest memory diagnostic programs on floppy or CD we mentioned earlier, and use it to boot your system and test the memory. If either of these programs shows any errors in your memory, you have likely found the source of your troubles.
Chances are you will need to purchase new memory. For more information on faulty memory and memory diagnostics, see PCstats Guide to diagnosing bad memory .

This blue screen is called BSOD Error (Blue Screen Of Death)
It occurs due to several reasons but since u specified abt memory, this might be showing you Kernal Memory Dump, i hope..
Dont need to panic, try to start up computer in safe mode & restore it to previous known date at which u didn't had that problem..
It generally occurs after installing some new softwares or drivers that conflicts with the memory module.. so try to restore ur system else try removing ur newly installed software or driver...
Hope this helped u out..

I cannot install OS winxp onto sata drive pc is Acer aspire x3200

Hi,
There could be two reasons for the blue screen either a bad harddrive or loose memory cards in the slots. Try reseating the memory cards on the motherboard.
Also please post back the Stop code you are getting on the blue screen

Hello my friend, regarding your problem do you have installed program or driver software lately before this blue screen appear? i guess the problem here is more on the memory dumping of your computer. either the latest installed software is not functioning will or  u have a memory device problem either to much heat or cause by some circuit problem that made the memory device problematic. the worst case here is to replace memory but for now try to check first if the memory is running well and stay in its standard cooling temperature. Or you can reprogram your computer.

Blue screen c000021a fatal system error

usually blue screen comes from unstable video memory or windows system or HD.
you may try
1) reinstall windows
2) change another HD to install windows
3) change new ram memory or change memories slot between one and another
if not fixed, to be sure your video memory damage which is insualted on board(separated with RAM), only the hardware repair can be fixed.
