Printer says 41.3 unexpected size in tray 2. How do I fix this?

A couple of things to check.
1) Make sure the paper guides in the tray are adjusted correctly for width and in particular the length. 2) Remove the tray completely check guides. 3) Make sure the tray is fully seated into the printer. 4) Make sure the paper in the tray matches the size of the guides.
If the guides and paper seem OK, the printer may need servicing by authorized service center.
41.3 UNEXPECTED SIZE IN TRAY [xx] alternates with LOAD TRAY [xx]: [type] [size] Description This is typically caused if two or more sheets stick together in the printer or if the tray is not properly adjusted.

C1183 error the trays desent and rise normaly put the stapeling unit coms at the front? this must be in center? thanks if anyone can help bart

Error code C1183 means finishing option elevator drive malfunction. It appears due to tray lift motor failure on the finisher. To trouble shoot the issue turn off the power and open the elevator section to check the elevator motor. Wait for 2-3 minutes and check if the issue is resolved. If this doesn't work then check the alignment of front and rear rollers of the finisher. Also make sure that the finisher exit guide rollers are fine & the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. Sometimes this error may appear due to a broken lower gear by the pin slot. Hope this helps...

Errorcode e000540-8003

do you have inner finisher moldel S-1, or outer finisher?

In cases of S-1 finisher this error means that you have problem with stack tray motor, in most cases the problem isnt stack tray motor but finisher controller pcb.
You should try to replace finisher main pcb.

But be sure to check tray for any damadges.

Hope that helped.

COBAO error

Finisher tray lift problem. I have seen this be very simply the top tray on the finisher is not fully inserted into it's holder. So check the trays on the finisher to be sure they are fully installed into their bracket. Then turn the machine off then on again. The finisher just so you know is where your copies come out.

Printer problem

Check your paper configuration. Make sure Tray 1 is configured for Plain paper and is showing the right paper size. If it is configured for anything other than Plain Paper, most of your jobs will not print. Also, if the size says something like Univseral, then the printer is not touch that tray unless your print job also specifies Univeral as the size. If is does say Universal, check the paper guide in the tray and make sure it is pointing exactly at the paper size you are using

Paper jam problem

Hi, if you are having the paper jam issue , then unplug the power adapter and remove all the papers from the paper tray and if you closely look inside the input paper tray you will find rollers , move the rollers with your finger tips. open the printer cover to the extreme left you will find the cartridge holders , move the holder from left to right a couple of times , behind the cartridge holders you will find a transparent strip which is inch wide and is inch wide and firmly connected at both the ends, use a damp cloth and clean that strip . lift the printer an#d shake it firmly turn the printer upside down and gently tab on the base , look for any obstructions.

Try all these steps and if there is an issue then you have to purchase the new printer.

good luck :), let me know once you perform all these steps

Check the 2 covers (one screw on each) where the output elevator tray attaches to the finisher.
