almost any electrical or electronic store should sell this motor.i forgot to mention only one screw holds the motor in place.you should also check that ring with three wheels that the platter rolls on for wearing.

Turn table wont turn

The turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven.

In some brands, you have to cut the motor cover off with snips, then use a screw when reassembling it.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

Change Motor but turn table does not turning?

test the following steps and fix it. God bless you

Turntable Motor

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the turntable motor might be worn out. This is a common problem and relatively easy to replace.

Touchpad and Control Panel

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the touchpad and control panel might be defective. This is not common. Test the turntable motor first.

Touchpad

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn and the touchpad has a button to turn the turntable on and off the touchpad might be defective. Check the turntable motor first, that is more likely.

User Control and Display Board

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the turntable motor might be worn out. This is a common problem and relatively easy to replace. If the motor is good, the user control and display board may be defective.

Main Control Board

If the microwave turntable doesn't turn the turntable motor is usually the problem. If the motor is good the main control board might be defective

Check first the motor coupling under the turntable, if that is not the problem , then test and eventually replace the turntable motor.

Microwave turntable makes a noise

Just dont listen to Mr Miller. He rambles way off subject and will say anything to feel like he is special.
All it takes is very fist sentence where he suggests it could be magnetron bad. Geee, if that were the case your microwave wouldnt heat/cook so you wouldnt be here having a noise problem would you? Its kinda like the mechanic saying your noisy brakes could be caused by a empty gas tank.

Cause? - could be motor that operates turntable going bad, food or something lodged anywhere in moving parts of turntable operation which includes unseen area, or moving part that is been somehow bent or moved (unlikely without impact to microwave or previous work done possibly leaving something loose).

Solution? - I am ignorant of specific assembly of your microwave but on many you can access motor from bottom (unplug microwave first) and replace motor yourself if you are somewhat mechanical. The cheapest easiest 1st step would be clean very well around all parts and even clean any debris you find when taken apart, then recover and turn on to see. Not the likliest but its cheap and easy and you have to take apart bottom to replace motor anyway so not really much extra work.

Loud noise coming from turn table

I have the same problem my microwave is a kenmore this is the second one I've had and they both did it I solved the problem by re-seating the turn table however if you are skilled at taking things apart you can put a few drops of small motor lubricant on the spline it worked for me. good luck!

Turntables doesn't work and makes horrible noise

Replace turntable motor. Not really that hard to replace or expensive. Remove all screws holding bottom panel (usually three across each side and one to three in front) to gain access to the turntable motor. The panel will hinge in the back.
