Question about Samsung Cameras
SAD TO SAY, BUT THIS REPAIR IS PROBABLY MORE COSTLY THAN REPLACING THE CAMERA. FOR ONE, YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND IT IN TO BE REPAIRED AND THIS IS A VERY TIME CONSUMING DEAL! LABOR COSTS ON A REPAIR LIKE THIS ARE JUST TOO COSTLY UNLESS YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE THIS CAMERA. BUT, YOU ARE LOOKING AT PROBABLY A MONTH OR LONGER FOR REPAIR AND I WOULD GUESS AT LEAST 1/2 OF THE COST OF THE CAMERA ,OR MORE. I KNOW THIS DOESN'T HELP MUCH, BUT AT LEAST YOU WON'T BE SHOCKED BY A HUGH BILL IF YOU SEND THIS IN TO BE REPAIRED.

Easy fix. Just bought a replacement LCD on ebay for my Samsung SL30, cost 17.99, think the shipping was even free. unscrewed the outside screws, pop off front, unscrew two inside screws, pull out LCD, insert new LCD screw it back together and bingo. LCD arrived in 1 week, keep that camera out of the landfill and drop a new screen into it. Really was a piece of cake.
