Model ar5516. Why is drum not cleaning?

Sir,
Did you prime the cleaning blade with toner when you installed it?, and did you ensure the new cleaning blade did not flip!!!!, re-check the new installed cleaning blade, place a small amount of toner from the toner bottle on the drum along the whole drum. and using your hands at both end of the drum DO NOT TOUCH THE DRUM" turn just a 1/4" CCW (To ensure the cleaning blade is set) then CW to see if the toner is removed. your drum might need to be replaced and or the fuser unit have a example of the copy?

Error code F 26-3 on Konica 7022

Sir/mam, you might have a bad drum density sensor or it was not cleaned or was destroyed by static electricity, if a vacuum cleaner was use to remove the old developer, NEVER use a vacuum cleaner for that procedure. Remove the drum and will see a small sensor near where the cleaning blade sits need to clean it replace it. Worse case the main control board is bad that what sensor talks to .Was the L Detect procedure run after the developer was replaced, and before you replaced the developer did you clear the developer counter, to let machine know it has new developer, because clearing the counter is the only way the copier has new developer, did you clear the counter for the new drum? The machine use the counters to determine voltages for certain assemblies. If L detect was not run and copies or prints where made get new developer and start over.

Where is location of cleaning blade drum minolta 4000 copier

Remove the drum unit/cartridge once done remove the (BE CARE REMOVE DRUM BY PUSHING UNDERNEATH FROM THE END NO FIIGERS MUST TOUCH THE DRUM BE CAREFUL NO NICKING IT EITHER) drum you will see the cleaning blade on your left of just where the drum came out if it is yellow looking replace it. When you replace it make sure you prime it with some toner out of the toner bottle. use a brush on the inside of the blade entire length also prime drum area entire length that is going to make contact with blade intialiy then once the drum is in turn the drum backs wards just a little (This will prevent the blade form FLIPPING! not good then turn the drum toward the right until it comes full circle and all the toner is removed from the entire drum

NEW DRUM

joe, to replace the drum, you need to remove the cover from the front of the drum unit it has three locking tabs, one removed, take main charger/grid unit out, located on the top of drum unit, two screws one on each end. the drum is held in with a cam lock shaft located on the front of the drum unit, turn it couter clockwise, your drum can now be removed,it's recomended that you replace the cleaning blade also, two scews. you'll have to coat the new drum with toner and manually turn it against the new cleanig blade,if you dont the blade may flip and ruin your new drum.reassemble

Need to replace the drum cleaning brush how do I get it out????

The drum cleaning blade removal is pretty straight forward.
1. Remove the charge unit above the drum.
2. Remove the cover that sits above the cleaning blade.
3. Release the pressure spring at front of drum unit.
4. Remove 1 screw (front side of blade at top) holding blade in place.

I noticed that you had also had a E3-40 code previously. If toner is dropping on to your copies, the toner support blade will also have to be replaced.
