OK !
turn the computer around, there is a serial number attached to the back panel, you are going to need that, and also write down the model of the computer, it should be on the front of the computer.
go to Dell.com, click on download and support. select the system you have. you should be able to get all of the drivers for the system. privided you didn't change anything in the computer.

MSI P965 Pt Continually re-boots on start-up

You don't say exactly at what point in the boot sequence the system crashed and restarts. Many things could be at work here. You say you are using the HDD from the previous system. Did you swap this drive straight out and are still using the OS load from the previous system? Windows loads drivers at startup based upon the hardware installed. If you are using and old WIndows load with a new mainboard, this could be the entire cause of your crashes. YOu may be able to get to SAGE mode and remove the old drivers and try to restart the system, but from experience I will tell you that to get the best results when installing a new mainboard, you should reload the OS from the original OS disk, and then load the new mainboard drivers.

You can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. Selectyour model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select the Windows XPor Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Please click on this link to their WEB support site : - http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us Check the motherboard specification for the largest capacity hard drive the BIOS can support. A BIOS upgrade may allow you to install a larger hard drive. You can use a large capacity external USB hard drive or install a second hard drive in your computer.

Hi,

You can download the installation driver and software from manufacturer's support website by clicking this link

On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) from the drop-down menu and click the "Next" button. Then download the required drivers and software.

The list of available drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.

Click on the "+" sign next to the list to expand the list and view details. To read the detailed installation instruction, click on "More info" link under each driver/software.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa

Is there a chip set for windows vista home premium 32 bit. When I bought my computer I had Vista installed on it and my computer constantly crashed. I had a guy fix my computer, said there was no chipsets...

The chipset (nForce 500) is soldered on the motherboard, it can't be changed. The problems you encountered were probably caused by bad drivers. If you choose to reinstall Vista don't use the driver's disk that came with the pc, get the latest ones from here
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index5.aspx?lang=en-us
But if you have the money you should buy Windows 7 , it's much better than Vista.

I don't see my RAID drives after reinstalling Vista 32

Usually, you have to install the raid drivers during Vista installation , not after. have the device that has the raid drivers on it plugged in when you install Vista, then when you're asked the LOAD DRIVERS option, click load drivers. This will install the raid drivers prior to Vista OS installation.

Ms-7061 msi motherboard will not install win xp with sata drive

The problem is that your version of XP does not have SATA drivers and therefore does not recognise your new drive. Vista does. If you Google the problem you will find many solutions on how to rectify the situation. Basically, you have to make a floppy disc with the correct drivers for your Motherboard's hard drive controller. Then, when you launch your Windows XP installer, it will ask you a question about needing to install 3rd party drivers. Yes is your answer. Tap F6 to ensure that the installer doesn't skip.Insert the floppy disc and then after the drivers are loaded, the installation will proceded normally. The other alternative is to leave your existing XP installation in place and add the new disc. Later you can clone your old disc onto the new drive and then remove your original disc.
