OK !
turn the computer around, there is a serial number attached to the back panel, you are going to need that, and also write down the model of the computer, it should be on the front of the computer.
go to, click on download and support. select the system you have. you should be able to get all of the drivers for the system. privided you didn't change anything in the computer.

My computer crashed and I want to reinstall Driver Detective with out buying it again. I have my Registration key.

To tell the truth those find and update driver programs like that are just a wast of disk space. You should just use the driver update utility in the Device Manager of your Operating System. It does the same thing for free. If you do not how to do this here's how.
  1. Right click the My Computer or Computer icon on the desk top. If not on desk top you can find it in the start menu.
  2. Choose the Properties option in the drop down menu.
  3. In the next window click on the Device Manager. In XP it's at top will be in tab form. Vista it's on the left side of in menu form Windows 7 is the same I think. Haven't played with Windows 7 much yet.
  4. The next window will show you a list of devices installed on you PC that looks like this cdb6214.jpg
  5. Find what you want to update display, usb, monitor and so on and click the + next to it. This open a drop down that show all hardware installed for that device.
  6. Right click the hardware you want to update and choose update driver and search internet when it gives you the option.
It will search for the newest driver update and tell you if you already have it. If you don't have it, it will download it so you can install it.

If you know how to do this already my apologies. You never know how much people know about computers on these type of web sites. =)

Hope this was helpful.
Good Luck

I have my Microsoft Vista machine using an LG monitor, plus I have the video card (An ATI Radeon 5800 series, I believe)'s second DVI output connected to my LG HDTV. In Windows I have it extending the...

If that doesn't solve it, try rolling the driver back to the previous driver(for the ATI radeon card) as some times updates are just no good for your needs as I have found recently.

My desk top computer is always crashing and dumping, and receiving blue screen. I will I solve this? OS is Windows Vista Black Edition with processor Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60 Ghz.

It could be a number of things. First, have tried reinstalling vista and installing the latest drivers for your hardware? You also might have a bad piece of hardware causing windows to crash. I would start by backing up all your files, downloading and saving all the latest drivers and doing a complete refromat and reinstall of vista. If you are unaware on how to do this, then I recommend taking the pc to a good repair place and having them do it for you.

Vista not recognizing driver from usb g220

Try turning off the Vista security feature known as User Account Control (UAC).

Go into Control Panel/Users. Select your own account then click the link on the left "turn UAC on or off". Disable UAC then click Apply/OK.

Now try installing the driver again. If you still get the "digital signature" warning choose the option to "install anyway".

The driver should then load. You would be best advised to re-enable UAC after you have finished loading the driver.

most likely if you are just changing the hard drive than there should not be any problem for drivers if the mother board CD available with you is the right one.
