When I click on Zoombrowser, the message "You cannot open more than one database at a time. Close the database before opening a different one" appears. When I click OK, the message "Please open or create another database using the database dialog which is accessed via the Database menu command". When I open the Database menu, it does not allow me to restore.
I followed the instructions on their troubleshooting. I suggest you put the Canon CD rom back in, look for Zoombrowser EX Software User Guide and follow the instructions on their troubleshooting page for database problems. It involves deletimg some files in the Zoombrowser/Database directory and then re-registering your database. It was no big deal, so give it a try.

This is a registry error. Try this: type regsvr32 quartz.dll in the run box on your computer. That would be: Click start, run, and then type this into the box. If yoou do this correctly, you should see a message that it was registered correctly. Try the program to see if it fixed the issue.
Why does Canon ZoomBrowser EX always crash on Vista?

But for some rea son, after I had upgraded to Win dows Vista from Win dows XP, Zoom Browser EX no longer worked. In fact, it would crash every time I started up the appli ca tion. It would dis play the splash screen, and then come up with a mes sage that “Zb Mod ule has stopped work ing.” After sev eral new ver sions of Zoom Browser had been released, finally yes ter day I decided to track down what was caus ing the pro gram to crash. I had emailed Canon tech sup port a week ago and described the prob lem. I also looked in the Canon Knowledge Base and found a tech sup port arti cle that describes Zoom Browser crashes. There are a cou ple of suggested fixes. One is make sure that com pat i bil ity set tings are not being used, and the other is that there may be a cor rupt file in your Pic tures folder. Nei ther of these answered why Zoom Browser was crash ing on my computer. Canon tech sup port emailed me back with two pos si ble alter na tives: the first was the cor rupt file case. To deter mine if that was the case, they sug gested mov ing all the files in Pic tures to a tem po rary folder, and then try to launch Zoom Browser. The other solu tion indi cated that there may be a prob lem with the user account on the com puter. Try log ging in as a dif fer ent user on your com puter, it suggested. Hence, I cre ated a new user and logged in. So with that step, I found that Zoom Browser would now launch fine, although obvi ously none of my pho tos were on this new user. So now that Zoom Browser would launch, I decided to track down exactly why it was crash ing on my old user account. I sur mised that if it was crash ing on my old user account, that it could con ceiv able start crash ing at some point on this new user account, and then I’d be in the same position. So step by step, I started copy ing over my var i ous files — first pic tures, then doc u ments, etc. Even with my entire Pic tures folder copied over, Zoom Browser was still work ing okay on the new user account. I also started launch ing var i ous appli ca tions to see if there was a con flict between one of these and Zoom Browser. I hypoth e sized that per haps Picasa or some other soft ware was caus ing a problem. I even tu ally had all of my files copied over, and Zoom Browser was still work ing. I fired up Pho to shop, and suddenly the prob lem became apparent. To make a long story short, the rea son Zoom Browser was always crash ing was because of an incom pat i bil ity with WCS color pro files in Win dows Vista. Win dows Color Sys tem is a new method for man ag ing color in Vista. You can access Win dows color man age ment if you right-click on the desk top and select Per son al ize. Then click on Dis play Set tings and then Advanced Set tings… Click the Color Man age ment tab and then click the Color Man age ment… but ton. On the default Devices tab, you can spec ify a default color pro file for the var i ous imag ing devices on your sys tem, such as mon i tors, print ers, scan ners, etc. I have a Sam sung Sync Mas ter T260 LCD mon i tor. Win dows Update offers to install the device dri ver. I’ve had Sam sung mon i tors in the past as well, and for some rea son, Adobe Pho to shop does not like the Sam sung moni tor device dri vers. When you install the dri ver a default color pro file gets installed for the mon i tor. And when you launch Pho to shop, it’ll dis play a mes sage that the cur rently selected color pro file is not valid. It asks if you want to use the pro file any way or ignore that color profile. My solu tion to elim i nate the mes sage in Pho to shop has been to go into the color man age ment fea tures of Vista and select a dif fer ent default color pro file. Since I work mostly on the web, I have been using the “sRGB vir tual device model pro file” under the WCS Device Pro files. It has a file name of wsRGB.cdmp. This was effec tive in elim i nated the mes sage upon the startup of Pho to shop, but what I deter mined yes ter day is that mak ing a WCS device pro file the default, Canon’s Zoom Browser EX would crash. Every time. ZoomBrowser has been around for a while, and it seems almost under stand able that it might not have com pat i bil ity with a new fea ture in Vista. The workaround that I found that sat is fies both the Pho to shop mes sage and the Zoom Browser crashes is to use the clas sic Win dows ICC color pro files. If you scroll down, you should see listed “sRGB IEC61966-2.1′ with a file name of “sRGB Color Space Profile.icm.” (Check Wikipedia to find out why sRGB is a good color space choice for web devel op ers and design ers.) Set this as the default color pro file, and the prob lem is solved. Zoom Browser EX now works fine, and Pho to shop no longer objects to the color pro file. Perfect! I sent this infor ma tion to Canon, and they responded quickly that they were for ward ing my descrip tion and solu tion of the prob lem to the rel e vant par ties. Hope fully they’ll fix this bug in their soft ware, but I’ve posted the solu tion here in case any one else in run ning into this spe cific prob lem with Zoom Browser EX.
Go to the "Add and Remove Programs" in your Control panel.
Do a "Change" and do the 'repair program' utility. That should fix it, good as new. If that is not a possible option, try uninstalling. (if there is no "Change" and 'repair program') then Run the normal uninstall program.
