Question about Hitachi 50UX26B/27K 50" Rear Projection Television
My son hit our 50" Hitachi tv and cracked the screen. He has since broke a piece of it off and now there is a whole in it. Does anyone know where I could purchase just a new screen? The picture is ok, it was just the outer cover. Thanks.
There are several parts distributors in the US that supply parts for Hitachi TV's You can try Herman Electronics, Tritronics and PAC parts, all have websites. Be prepared for the cost: a new screen will be in the $300-$400 range. It's not just a piece of ordinary plastic; it's actually two pieces of specially designed plastic designed to disperse the light evenly, called a lenticular and a fresnel.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
