Question about Washing Machines
Washer won't spin consistently. Basic troubleshooting says to balance the load, let motor cool, or close the door. All were done. Mechanically it seems sound because it occasionally works. We used it for awhile in the Active Wear Cycle, but now that isn't even working.

you have to clean out the filter on the bottom by removing the lower panel and twisting the cap... careful lots of water comes out but will work great after

Similar problem fixed in less than 5 minutes. Here's a post that was very helpful. http://www.foobert.com/blog/2007/04/02/ge-adora-front-loading-washer-does-not-drain/
There's a trap located under the front panel (3 screws) I undid the filter and pulled out 21 coins, 2 buttons, a 'letter h', zipper parts, a broach, and a whole lot of lint.
My wife said that the unit never got the clothes so dry afterwords, she said the almost didnt need to throw the clothes in the dryer.
NOTE: Have a ton of towels ready, and if you can fit a bucket or dish under the filter, go slow and steady. I opened it up and had several gallons all over the floor!
