I have lost my remote to my Digital Video Disc Recorder with Videeo Cassette Recorder #ZV420MW8. I would like to know how to go about getting a replacement. Thank You, Diane Wotton email@example.com

I looked up your DVD player's model number online. It is not equiped to read picture files (.jpg, .bmp, etc.) You have to be carefull when you transfer pictures to a DVD on your computer. If you just burn them to the disc, most DVD players wont be able to read the information. Frequently you have to use a program like Microsoft Movie Maker to get them in the right format.
You may have to start over and use a DVD making program to make them a video and not just picture files.
the cable from the wall is to the cable box in....(do have monitor) cable box out to tv coax in...dvd / vcr & audio outs to tv ins....and tv outs back to dvd vcr audio in....tv is on ch 3 for cable...look for your dvd /vcr or aux ch when want to look a dvd or vcr...now set the dvd to ch 3 settings and cable broadcast...your cable box will determine what you record....note HBO may not record on DVD, but will on VCR tape
This recorder only records inline. This means that there is no channel on recorder. It records whatever your satellite or cable box is showing. You'll have to change the channel on that.
I don't know that this will work for timed recording. You'll have to make sure that your cable/satellite is on and set to the proper channel before you leave. This wont work if you're recording multiple shows on different channels while you're gone. In that case you may need a different recorder.
