There should be a reformat option in the camera. That will remove all the images from your card as well as reformat the card. The memory card should be reformatted periodically for optimal functionality.

What do i do if it says memery is full

download all the photos/fiiles to your computer, then delete all the photos that are on the camera, you may also be able to pull the sd card out and put that in your computer, it will look like a storage device to your computer and will download photos much faster than from the camera, also you can then delete the photos on that SD card while its in the computer

When I press button to take a photo the top of the screen reads Memory Card Error and the photo has not been recorded. Unable to record any new photos. Tried to take memory card out and stick it back in...

Card may have been locked I'll send you a diagram so you can see beside it's faster then i can type.
The other thing is you need to format the memory card Format not delete. Each time you download pictures to the computer you need to format the memory card. Instructions to do this are in your owners manual. most likely in your set up menu.

I want to delete the pictures

Back up your photos to your computer and then format the card in the camera. Not only will this delete all the photos, this will prevent any further fragmentation of the card. If you keep some photos on the card, delete others, and take more, then delete, etc., you're heading for guaranteed problems.

So, format the card every time you finish download photos to your computer. If you must have photos in the camera, use a card reader and copy them to the card after the format.

Also, remember to format the card in the camera, not on a computer.

Nikon Coolpix L14....deleting multiple photos

If you are looking to delete them all at once on the camera, you can format the card.

But really, the best way to manage pictures on your camera card is to use a card reader with your computer/laptop to delete/copy pictures from your camera card to your computer/laptop.

Deleting photos

On one of your menus there should be a selection to "Format Card". Select this and it will wipe everything from the card in 5 to 10 seconds. Keep in mind it will wipe it clean.

Another option, if you do not want to delete everything is to find a computer with a multi-card reader. Insert it into the computer and use Windows Explorer to select all the pics you want to delete by holding the <Control> button down and left clicking the mouse. When you have selected all the ones you want to delete, right click and select <Delete>.
