Question about E-Machines eMachines Monitor E15T4
MY COMPUTER SCREEN POWERS UP BUT SAYS NO SIGNAL, THEN GOES BLACK, BUT DOESN'T POWER OFF.
Your monitor may not be compatible with your computer. Is it the monitor that came with the computer or an aftermarket one? One surefire way to tell if your monitor is the problem is the simplest trick in the book. Get another monitor and hook it up to your computer, I know easier said than done but borrow a friends or something and this will definitely answer your question. If another monitor works on your computer it's definitely the monitor and that can be a slew of things like not enough power is going to the monitor, it needs a driver to work with your computer or it may be broken or not working properly. Just see if the other monitor that you test works on your computer and get back to me.
