If ur referring to the 125volt,6.3 amp fuse it is At the rear of tv, where the power cord comes out of tv. U will need to remove the bottom back panel held by +-10 screws(much easier than it sounds) u will see fuse next to where power cord attaches to circuit board. Let me know if that helps or u need pix. Siralosha3@gmail.com

The rating of the fuses will be marked on the printed circuit board, very near to the fuse clamp.

Hi.Try to check the fuse located at the back of the board near the ac cord. You need to open the back cover to see the fuse inside.Unplug first before you remove the cover, replace the same value of fuse.

Try to open the back cover of your TV.Then check the fuse of your TV near the out let cord of your tv.check if the fuse is blowned or open.Replace new fuse with the same ampere. Then power on again the tv.

Will not power on

First check the fuse in the plug, if thats good you will have to take the back off the tv, there are a few screws holding it on so have a route around and you will find them. Once the screws have been taken out the back cover should should come away, if you follow the mains cable into the tv and where the cable connects to the board there should be a small fuse, unpop it and take the fuse out, if you have or can get hold of a multimetre, test the fuse for continuity. You can also take it to your local electrical appliance shop and ask them for a new fuse, put the new fuse into the fuse holder and put the back into place and screw it back up, this should solve your problem. post back if you need further assistance.

My Olevia Tv just stoped turining on no red or greed light appearing anymore...Is it fried or can I just replace a small fuse myself

Yes you can change out that fuse yourself just be very careful and have the tv set unplugged at all times while you are changing out the fuse.Remove the back cover to the tv set, once removed look towards the power supply where the power wire is coming into the pc board the fuse is right next to that, once you have found the fuse take it out and check it make sure that it is defective sometimes the thing that happens with old standard tv sets is that a component will give out because of the years that it has been working so this problem can also be caused by a component as well.Ok lets get back to step one if the fuse is defective on the side of the fuse on the chrome part it will tell you the voltage and the amps that the fuse is rated at,remember that when you go get a fuse at your nearest electronic store that the voltage and amps are identicle the same as the fuse that you are taking out.Put the new fuse in and the back cover back on and your tv set should be working back to normal in no time thank you.

Heard a pop then screen went blank. Now TV wont turn on.

Sounds like your fuse.

If not the fuse in your plug, then the internal fuse in the TV. to get too this you need to open the TV by taking off the back plastic panel and look at the fuse.

the fuse is the glass tube on the board, will no doubt be near where the power cord connects to the TV. and are easy to replace with another fuse. you will know soon as you open it if its blown as the little glass tube will be blackened or the little wire inside the tube will be missing or severed.

Fuses in TVs are actually designed to blow over time with ware (usually to last a bit longer then the warranty time frame) so after the cover has ended the TV can go in for repair work at extra cost. Its a little known fact.

Tv will not turn on. Checked electrical and cable.

if you know that you have power and everything is ok otherwise than in the back of the tv there is a fuse. what it sounds like is that your fuse has blown. you will need to take the back of the tv off and look for the fuse and rep[lace it. please disconnect the power cord before attempting this....

My vizio 32" LCD TV will not turn on and the standby light will not come on either.

First try plugging the tv into another wall outlet, see if the one its in now is off. Make sure the ac cord is well fitted into the tv and the wall outlet. If still no power (and no warranty left on the tv) remove the back cover and check the fuse if blown replace it. If the fuse is good then the power supply board needs to be tested. If you know someone who's technically savy let me know I'll walk them through some testing steps to find the problem. Get back too me..

This is the best I can do over the internet.......

please rate this answer when you can....

Philips TV 27PT6441/37 won't turn on - I know I need a 4 amp slow blow fuse. Will it be obvious where the fuse is located once I have the back cover off or will I need to find a schematic?

Yes it will be obvious and you don't need a schematic to find it. What you actually may need is an ohmmeter to find exactly what fuse is blown in case there are more than one fuse present. You can also find this symbol on the board that indicates the fuse. Sometimes this symbol is drawn inside a box.
