Bell wire is color coded ,red terminal red wire ,white terminal white wire , when connecting theese wires be careful not to staple into one by accident because it will definetly cause a short , don,t worry it won,t cause a fire because it is low voltage , you can stick the wire in your mouth and still not get a shock , but seriously the wire that comes with theese machines is flimsy and can get broken fairly easy , just double check your wiring , infrared sensors are white and black and must be put in the proper stick in terminals on the machine , Here is your configuration from left to right ,RED/WHITE /WHITE,BLACK , remember do not take the white wires from sensors and stick them into the white terminal next to red because that one is for the bell and the whit thats next to the black is for the infrared sensors ONLY theese two cannot be crossed and always keep the two wires together till your ready to wire to the machine because if you seperate them before they are impossible to distinguish from one another when it comes time to wire it to the opener ,Hopefully i was able to help you ,if you have any more questions i will be happy to answer them , lets get this thing working Sincerely Glenn

Diagram of fuse box on 2000 vw new beetle

I cannot help you with the make of your vehicle but I once had random blowing of fuses in my Chrysler Spirit car. Sometimes the fuse would blow in a couple of days and sometimes a week or two would go by before the fuse would blow. I took a blown fuse and soldered a very small 12 bulb across the fuse's ends and pushed the combination- blown fuse/bulb into the fuseholder. One night as I opened my car door, this bright light came on and I knew that the cause of the intermittent blown fuses was somewhere inside of the door. I removed the panel and found that the insulation had worn off some wires. I taped the wires using electrical tape and had no further problems. Len at www.oshawarocks.com

Wiring diagram

It comes in the box you bought it with, and if you bought the wiring harness you just match the colors up, red is usually positive battery, black is ground, blue is antenna, white and blue is remote for your amplifier just he the manual out, I'm guessing you didn't buy a wiring harness or a antenna adapter

2000 ford ranger not start

Hi Marco:
You will have to prove out the wiring to make sure there are no shorts, opens, or poor connections. If there are no wiring problems, then the EEC may be at fault. The crank sensor produces an AC voltage signal that may be getting corrupted by the time it reaches the ignition module, due to bad wiring. Make sure to verify whether the ignition module is receiving a clean strong signal by using an oscilloscope or at least measure the signal with an AC voltmeter at the ICM connector while cranking the engine. The voltage will vary with speed, you are looking for a steady signal that doesn't drop out or become erratic. You can run new wires, and make sure they are not connected to possibly shorted sections of the old wiring, by cutting the old wires off at the connectors and connecting new wires to the cut ends. Or replace the connectors and wiring if you suspect that the connections are bad. Inspect carefully for damaged terminals that won't make a good tight connection with their mating pins when connected.

Here is a basic diagram of the entire system, it is common to all the distributorless units even though this one shows a 6-pack coil.

First I sugest to check to see if the check engine light comes on key on engine off. Chekc the EEC Power relay in the fuse box switch with another relay (underhood fuse box, called PCM power relay). Check ground connectiosn.

No power to fuel pumps, or to 10 amp fuse (for fuel tanks).

try the fuel cut off switch, its a yellow rocker switch that when the vehicle gets into an accident or recieves major shock will disengage power to the fuel pump/thus no power im not sure of location on the trucks,my best guess would be glove box or passenger kick-panel area it will be marked as fuel shut-off
