Question about De Dietrich LZ9619 Front Load Washer / Dryer
Washer Dryer drum is filled with water when not in use and when switched off (not from the mains just off on the machine). Washer dryer door can still open with the water gushing out. Machine can still run manual drain and spin cycle as a temporary measure to stop the issue. Is this a washer dryer problem or a plumbing problem?
Just need to change the water valve ???take out your soap dish look inside you will see water dripping and it will be the one to change

Well your machine running with the door open maybe a stuck door switch so when you open the door the switch is stuck in and therefore it thinks the door is closed. Now, will the water drain out of it at the end of the cycle and then later on it fills backk up with water or is the water just not draining out.

Try the valves inside the back where the water hoses connect to the machine they should default to the closed position when water is not required
