Corner of picture missing

The bottom edge of the picture is slanted and because of this, the bottom left hand corner of the picture is off of the screen. How can I reset the picture so that it is square again and the entire screen is visible?

Make a reset to this set. Refer to it user manual for details. Unplug the set from AC mains socket, and replug it after 5 minutes or so.

Tilted picture

You must be placing the TV near something Magnetic, Speakers, etc. This would account for the green in the corners. The tilted picture is most likely the yoke in the set has moved during rough handling. The first issue can be fixed with a degausssing coil, the second requires a technician to manually realign the yoke assebly and perform a convergence on the set.

hold the Fn key located in the very bottom left hand corner and at the same time, press one of the F keys numbered 1-12 with the picture of a little webcam on it. a picture will appear in the right hand corner of the screen and this means that next time you click your webcam it should be on. the webcam key on my advent notebook is F6 and i have the model 4489, it may be different for other models. i don't know how to do bluetooth - have a play with the other F keys.

Accidently locked tv

Sorry but you're going to have to be a bit more specific than that.. What kind of Tv is it, what model number, is it the original remote, do you have an otherwise good pic and sound, do functions (vol, ch, power) on the Tv work???

Slanted picture!!

This problem might be caused by an external magnetic field. Most modern Sony tv sets have a picture rotation control. Go to the setup menu and select Picture Rotation. Your user guide will explain.

Picture slants right to left

Hope you have fixed this problem by now, if that tv is unserviced, I mean if nobody has ever opened it, it could be a problem with the positioning of your tv, just tilt the tv in different positions and find out the position in which it will show the right fit. If it is serviced, especially yoke is changed, this is rare, it could be because the position of yoke is not aligned properly.

Slanted picture

Your deflection yoke (a coil around the neck of the picture tube) must have gotten turned. Your can turn the picture upside down by rotating this coil. If your set is in warranty, you should return it. When this "yoke" is adjusted the color is affected too. If you try this yourself you'd void the warranty and mess up your color. Stargazer
