Problem for Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera

Photos are monochromatic with a puple color and horizondal lines in it.

From this evening pictures taken with my A95 are having a single color(a pale purple color) with a lot of parallel horizondal lines in it. What is the problem, how to correct it.
