Change language hp officejet j4580

There must be a way... Usually HP printers have schematic how it is to be done. Those are in a litlle book that came with printer.

To change the language on your printer you need to:-

• Turn on the printer.
• Press the *and # buttons.Release the buttons.
• *******##### will be displayed.
• Now press buttons 1,2 and 3 until there appears the resetting menu.press the OK button twice.
• This procedure shuts down the printer such that when you turn it on again,the language settings will have to be set.Select your option.

When prompted, press 1 for yes You can print a Self Test Report to confirm the settings 1. Press SETUP 2. Press 2 and then press 6.

To change te date on the OfficeJet J4580 us the following steps.
1. press the setup button (that looks like a wrench).
2. press the right arrow key until you find Basic Setting then press OK.
3. In the Basic setting menu press the right arrow key until you find Date and Time then press OK.
4. Enter the date with the keypad (DD-MM-YY) then press OK.
5. Enter the time with the keypad (HH-MM), use the right arrow key to change between AM or PM then press OK.

These simple steps should help adjust your time settings

Press setup (wrench sign button ) button on printer and use arrow keys to goto print reports menu , press OK on print reports menu , under this select fax confirmation and press OK, it will print the confirmation page.

Changing the HP OfficeJet J4580 language on the printer control panel:

1) With the printer powered ON, unplug the power cord
2) Wait 30 seconds
3) Press and hold the <#> key and the <3> key at the same time as you plug the power cord back in
4) Release the keys you were holding
5) If your printer does not power on automatically, press the power button
6) Press the setup button (looks like a wrench)
7) Use the arrow keys to navigate to "Basic Settings" and press <OK>
8) Use the arrow keys to navigate to "Set Language" and press <OK>
9) Use the arrow keys to navigate to the language of your choice, and press <OK>
10) Press <1> on the keypad to confirm
11) When "Set Location" appears, use the arrow keys to navigate to your country/region, and then press the <1> key to confirm

Changing the language on the HP All-in-One displayFollow these steps to change the language on the All-in-One display.

1. Press the Setup button ().
2. Use the arrow buttons () to select Basic Settings, and then press OK.
3. Use the arrow buttons () to select Set Language, and then press OK.
4. Use the arrow buttons () to scroll through the language options until the preferred language is displayed.
5. Press the numbers on the numeric keypad that correspond to the appropriate language displayed on the control panel display.
   NOTE: Ifa selection is not made within five seconds, the display automaticallychanges to show the next language. If a selection is not made withintwo minutes the setup menu exits and the language/region remainsunchanged.
6. Confirm the language choice.
   • Press the number corresponding to Yes to confirm the selected language.
   • Press the number corresponding to No to select a different language.
7. Aftera language is selected, a screen is displayed for region selection.Press the numbers on the numeric keypad that correspond to theappropriate region.
   NOTE: Ifa selection is not made within five seconds, the display automaticallychanges to show the next region. If a selection is not made within twominutes the setup menu exits and the language/region remains unchanged.

1. With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer, and then wait for 20 seconds.
2. Press and hold the # and 6 buttons simultaneously, while plugging the power cord back to the printer.
3. Release the buttons after reconnecting the power cord.
4. Press the Power button ( ) if the printer does not turn on automatically. The language is reset to English.
