Whirlpool Ultimate Care 2 LEQ8000JQ3 w/ Accudry- how do I make sure the Accudry feature works properly when I replace element?

The orange wire mounted to the 250 limit at the base of the heating element connects to the timer motor. When the element is on the motor cannot move forward in autodry. When the element is off the timer motor slowly advances. that is how it works. If you small limit on top is blown you have a restriction in your venting system or a clogged filter chute or a bad cycling thermostat. I worked on one and did a video recently. ROPER DRYER NO HEAT VIDEO

Does not have adequate heat. It does have some heat

if dryer is heating but not drying there are two things to look for. check for air flow outside. blocked air flow will cause your drying time to be really long. the other is you may have an element that is shorted to ground. when this happens your unit is heating off half your voltage. this is something that can be detected with an ohm meter or the naked eye. unplug first.

Cant find a spot to ground

Your dryer if connected properly already has at least one ground via the power cord connection. (3 prongs 2 are voltage and one is ground) If your home has copper plumbing you can ground to the cold water faucett plumbing. The grounding clips / clamps can be found in most hard ware stores or appliance parts stores. As for connecting to your dryer and rear panel screw can be losened and the grounding wire inserted under the screw head and then re-tightened.

I want to replace just the 3 wire receptacle head of my clothes dryer. there are three wires in the cord. white, black, green. i unscrewed the head and I dont know where which wire goes.

white and black are power green is ground the ground should be marked on the plug the black and white does not matter as long as the are on the power terminals they are across from each other the ground is by itself at bottom of plug W B

Electrical Issues with Dryer

!!! CAUTION !!! That's your breaker letting you know that somethings is wrong. I would NOT try plug in the dryer again until you have a service technician look at your dryer. The dryer cord may not be properly grounded or attached. I had the same issue and thought I'd force the breaker... needless to say I almost fried myself and the whole place to boot...I'm really lucky to be here.

Bosch Nexxt 100 Electric Dryer Went through a flood....Nothing n

Check all around for a dealer with one that got crushed, but has good working parts. They call them scratch and dent. Have your dealer search other dealers. You may have to buy something from him to butter him up, cause this is a real favor. Water is really rude to appliances. You'll need the motor, timer, any electronic controls, all that stuff.
