How to hook up 18"

SO I am going to give you more of a signal layout from the turntables (or whatever you use to DJ) to the speakers.
Turn tables-> Mixer-> Eq-> Amp-> Sub and other speakers.
The part that I am not understanding is why do you need the QSC amp if you have a powered sub? The powered part of that means that there is a built in amp, which eliminates the need for the QSC amp unless you are sending that sound to main (non sub) speakers.
Hope that helps!

Im tryna hook up my pansonic sa-pt 480 surround sound to my 42 inch plasma panasonic flatscreen and the cable but the sound not coming out the speakers

I couldn't find any info on sa-pt480 only scpt480. However, setup should be straighforwardly the same.

Generally you have to direct the sound in setup. The manual is here Follow the instructions for setup

When i hook up my m audio to my sound system, i get a steady unpleasant sount

It could be a couple of things. First the ground on the inside came loose and needs to be reattached. Second if it is an older model some have the capacity to take records. Records have a special prosseser that is diffrent than a digital input. It is very sensitive. That mght be stuck on. I think that it is the ground. Let me know. My name is Tony and I am very good with Computers, Remotes and real good with stereo and TV hook ups with wires fro your surrond sound systems. Im just not that good at spelling lol. My email is Like I said if you need help with any of that just ask you don't have to go through the web sight. You can write me direct. Take care and good luck. Tony D.<br />

I plugged my speakers in to the sound card and it

You must try 2 options.
Try uninstall sound card drivers, reset comp., and again install sound driver.
In second case you must try new system, with full format hard drive, because you can have trouble with virus, and that is only safe way.
You can also try another sound card, but I think that is you sound card OK.

Sony Model: STR-DG800

You've got a short in one of your speaker wires either at the receiver (most common) or at the speaker itself. you should only have a 1/2" of each side of the speaker wire stripped to put on each terminal, and when you strip them, twist them so there are no frays in the strands that will touch the other terminal. The receiver is protecting itself from harm. Turn it off then disconnect all speaker wires, examine each wire carefully before reinstalling, then turn the receiver back on. If it still says protection, look at each speaker and reconnect your wires the same way. If you still have a problem, disconnect the wires again at the receiver and turn on, at this point, if it say's protection, it needs to be serviced. Hope this helps

Music not playing from subs

Do this for the sub amp...

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.
