Contact your ISP. It is likely that they are blocking outgoing traffic on port 80. Most ISPs do not want their customers serving anything as it takes up more bandwidth.

Where is the administration located?

You need to encrypt your wireless router.
Connect a LAN cable from Belkin to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open a browser on your laptop/computer and enter the Belkin's configuration URL. http://192.168.2.1
The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default admin password.
You can now configure the wireless settings to protect your wireless network and Internet from unauthorized access. Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop with the router's wireless settings. Cannot connect NetGear WN3000RP with wireless

If you use a Netgear router to broadcast a WI-FI (Wireless Fidelity) signal in your home, you can easily double the range of your network by connecting a second router to one of the LAN (Local Access Network) ports located on the back of the Netgear router. You can use a Linksys, Belkin, D-Link or even a second Netgear router to extend the range. Any router that allows you to access the router settings to turn off the router's DHCP server is usable as a range extender.

Complete a master reset on the router you want to use as an extender. Typically, routers have a reset hole located on the back or side of the router. Push a metal push pin into the hole until the lights on the router flash. Often the settings on routers have been manipulated to enhance a network connection. Resetting the router ensures you can access all of the settings and not encounter any issues when making the connection. Plug an Ethernet cable into one of the router's LAN ports located on the back of the router. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port located Enter the router's IP address into an Internet browser Web address field. If you do not know the default IP address, reference TechSpot.com for a list of router IP addresses. Enter the default username and password for your router. If you do not know the default login information, reference Router Passwords.com for the default login information for your router brand. Access the DHCP server settings. Usually, this is located in the "Basic Setup" section of the router settings page. Turn off the DHCP server and then select "Update Settings." The location of the DHCP server can be located on a different page if the router is an uncommon brand. Access the "Wireless Setup" page and change the SSID to match the network name you use for your Netgear router. Select "Update Settings" to save the network name. This allows computers to move from the Netgear router to the router used as a range extender without requiring a second wireless profile being set up on the computer. The SSID could be located on a different page if the router is an uncommon brand. Access the "Wireless Security" page and update the router's password to match the password used on the Netgear router. If you do not secure your network, skip this step. The wireless password could be located on a different page if the router is an uncommon brand. Remove the Ethernet cable from the router and the computer. Plug one end of the cable into the WAN (Wide Area Network) port located on the back of the router you want to use as a range extender. Plug the other end of the cable into one of the LAN ports located on the back of the Netgear router. Hope this helps

I have a router i forget everything to it i cant get into it at all cant access the internet or nothing

To access a router on which you forgotten everything, do the following...
1. apply power to the router and connect an ethernet cable from PC to one of the router's LAN ports
2. press the router's reset button (usually located beside its power supply jack) for at least 5 seconds
3. (pressing reset for 5 seconds resets the router to its factory defaults)
4. with factory defaults, you can now use the Setup Wizard on the router's Setup CD-ROM
5. if no Setup CD or to configure advanced settings see router manual about web-based utility
6. open Internet Explorer and enter the router's default IP address (see router manual for address)
7. IE presents a login window for entry of router userid and password (see manual for defaults)
8. once into the router's Basic Setup screen, follow the steps in the router's manual to do the setup.
9. if your ISP requires a registered MAC address, enter it on the clone MAC address screen
10. for better wireless security, change router SSID from its default and enable WEP or WPA

Can I set the WNR1000 as an access point

Yes, You can set it as a wireless access point. All you need to do is follow the steps below.

1. open internet browser, enter on the address bar http://routerlogin.com
2. username is admin, password is password.
3. Go to wireless, change the wireless settings like the ssid and setup the encrption. Go to LAn settings under advance.
4. Disable the dhcp server and change the ip address of your WNR1000
ex. You plan to connect your wnr1000 to a w ired route rwith an ip address of 192.168.1.1. You can set the wnr1000 to 192.168.1.x ( except 1)
Save the changes,
Plug the access point wnr1000 to the lan port on the main router and the other end also on the lan port on the wnr1000.(LAN to LAN)

It should be working now as an access point.

I have a NETGEAR wire/wireless router MBR624GU. My internet provider is Comcast using a high speed internet modem by Ambit model U10C018. I connected the Comcast modem to Router LAN port using a Ethernet...

If you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work?
If that works then the modem is working.
Now connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
You will need to open the set up page of the router to check the settings of the router.
You can set up the router without the CD also.
It is very easy.

How to watch IP Camera on internet by using DSL-2640T??

let me give you few suggestions and then you can take it from there.

firstly IP camera is just what its name says..it needs a fixed IP address it may be local as in your lan where it is working or a IP address from ISP.
Now when you connect it behind router... it is essentially a camera connected to LAN.
now the problem is DYNDNS.com will give access to your router since that is connected to dynamic IP addressing. However Ip camera is behind router and to access it you need to open proper protocol and port in router .consult your router manual for doing that.

with your current setup that is the only solution. however you can connect Ip camera directly to ISP line and then use dyndns as in case of router. though i dont know how feasible that will be for you.you have not mentioned IP camera model so cant help with specific details.

Same Problem. Port frowarding not working. Very confusing.

Virtual Server Name can be anything specified by you. Protocol if not sure TCP/UDP, it is better to select "*" which means both. Both public and private port has to be camera's port. Like in your case it is 50001. LAN server is the local IP address of the Camera given by your router's DHCP or a Static Private IP address f0541ce.jpg

Not able to configure and connect to internet using router

Try 192.168.0.0 which would be the default address to access your modem. This should allow you to go into the modem and adjust changes. I know on the bottom of my router there is an administrator default password that can e used to access the mainframe of the modem. Check out these features in there. I would start first by connecting via LAN again and then try to conntect to it via a WAN but again see if you can access the modem using the 192.168.0.0.

Ip camera logon ptoblem

You might have forwarded the wrong ports of the camera to the wrong IP address. Make sure you assign static IP on the camera. Firewalls should be turned off as well.
