Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video
Error 19 is a communication error code with the ipod itself so either the cable is bad or the connectiontion on the ipod or deck is bad or the ipod itself may have a bad rom for external use. this info comes straight from the tech support manual for Pioneer that we car audio techs use (even if you call pioneer they will tell you mthe same thing).
try this :
Disconnect the cable from iPod.
Once iPod main menu is displayed, connect the cable again.
Reset the iPod.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
