I can't seem to get the Motion Eye inbuilt webcam working, and cannot find the software on my system at all. I've got a vaio VGN-AR61S

You can download the WEBcam and device drivers from the Sony WEB site.
Select your model notebook and the Windows drivers you require. Please click on this link to the Sony support WEB site :-

I have formatted my sony vaio vgncr35g and installed windows 7 but web cam and inbuilt buttons does not work. please help!!!

You have download the drivers for both the webcam and inbuilt buttons from the b/m link:

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNCR220EP&SelectOS=42

Your category is CAMERA and Sony Applications.

Note that you have to select the Windows 7 exact version (32 or 64 bit) you are using to filter the searched drivers.

I have sony vaio vgn-cs14g laptop. i am using tata photon usb internet modem. but suddenly it stoped working and when i installed the photon software ZTE , after connecting the photon modem it is not...

First I am unsure of your OS - (operating system) is it Microsoft Vista? XP? 7?

Besides that, I would go to the Control Panel - uninstall the device driver(s) for the photon software ZTE, and the inbuilt bluetooth and web cam, if they are showing 'installed' but the are NOT working.

Then, ONE at a time, starting with the ZTE, download the most current driver or the last working driver you have. Do not attempt any further installs of drivers until you see this is successful.

Once you have installed the driver, this should either work, or generate a specific error. Please reply with the results and we could go from there!

Thank you!

Check out the manual on your computer regarding the webcam controls
Sometimes the webcam start procedure can be found under the keyboard heading

Start > Computer >> Local disk (C) >> Documentation >> EN(glish)

Try the Sony Support website for drivers

Webcam not working

This happens for new versions of the messenger as that doesnt support the 2MP camera.Reduce the picture size in messenger options to the 480x380 or any sizes nearer to it

HP dv2000 laptop webcam

i would try to uninstall and reinstall your messenger software. restart after uninstall.

If it still fails, try to download the newest drivers for your webcam.

and also check if your webcam works with another messenging program like skype or msn messenger... your firewall on your PC could be blocking the webcam data stream

I bought a vaio pink vgn-cr354 for my wife about a month ago, when we try to use it to the YM-internet, the web cam is not working. With message error: A network error connection to the server.

This really isn't enough information for me to determine a issue. Your trying to connect yahoo messenger and use the internet explorer to browse the internet? The webcame may be a software issue, did it come with disks? If so reload everything.
