This situation sometimes occurs when the batteries get overcharged. Use the phone for a day and then attempt to charge. If it still won't charge, remove the battery for about a minute. Then re-install the battery and attempt to charge. If that doesn't clear the problem, you may need to get a new battery.

2: Change the Wall Outlet or USB Port Plugged Into. The next most common reason aniPhone won't charge is because of where it's actually plugged into. Sometimes the wall outlet itself isn't working or the light switch is turned off, so if you're using a wall charger then change the outlet.20 Feb 2016

How do you clean the charging port on iPhone?
To be safe, back up your iPhone or iPad to your computer or the cloud. Power it off, and with a normal toothpick, gently remove the lint. You will be amazed how much can get stuck in the port. Connect the charger and see if it works.16 Dec 2014

Nikon s6300 won't turn on

Coolpix Cameras are tricky to use with chargers. I will assume your USB Charger EH-69P is 100 - 240V 50/60 Hz so it CAN work in many places around the world with an adapter. Do not go over 240V or you could damage it.

These cameras like to have the power supply connected when it is on to charge - meaning if you have it connected and you plug the charger in the wall it will NOT charge. So if you plug the charger in the wall first and then plug the cable in the camera it will work. The camera is actually ON when it charges and I never REMOVE the memory card when it is ON.

When you have a dead battery. Plug the camera in and make sure the ON LED lights and the Charge LED flashes. Then don't mess with it. Let it charge completely (Charge LED stops flashing and is OFF) and then unplug it. It will turn off. Then later you can turn it on.

DOES THE tOMTOM via NEED TO BE CHARGED BEFORE USE?

I would read the manual if it doesn't state it in it you should not it should be a lithium battery and if it is it wont hurt to charge it again they should be capable of running all the time charged so if you can run it all the time it won't hurt to charge it before hand.

It sounds like a defective unit, although I am not familiar with that model... If both charging methods don't work, I would recommend a manufacturer replacement.

When it's plugged into the cigarette lighter socket it should work. Sometimes the reason it won't is because the mini USB plug of the charger is not pushed fully into the satnav and it goes into mass storage mode showing a picture of a satnav connected to a computer. The plug appears to be fully pushed in but it's not. Pushing it in further usually solves the problem.

I hope this solves your problem and that you find that garmin satnavs aren't so bad after all.

Panasonic HM-TA1 won't power on with battery fully charged.

The battery will not charge when the device is turned on. Make sure that when you connect it to your computer via its usb that you do not turn it on otherwise it wont charge.

The annoying thing about this device is that when you connect it to your computer and turn it on, on the LCD it will say "connecting via usb" and the memory bar will show that it is fully charged, however the battery is not. This must just be a design flaw as the battery won't be charged.

Just remember to plug it in and leave it, do not turn it on!

Charging via your cigarete lighter would be VERY SLOW, especially if the device has sat aaround and discharged.

If it has a place to plug in AC, often one can find cords at thrift stores that will fit the connector.

Some of these used wall transformer units supplying 13 or 14 volts to charge.

The battery may be so far down it may damage the charger.

I have a new e627 used only once before today. Battery connection was partially out and screen indicated low battery. After five minutes screen went black and now I cannot power up.

Maybe your battery is totally drained.

Try to connect the AC adaptor of your laptop and plug it to the wall outlet and let it charge for 3 hours or more. When you plug it on the wall socket, it won't show the laptop's led blinking since it was totally drained. But after 3 minutes or more, it will start to show the blinking led to indicate charging. When blinking stops led light disappears, it is fully charged and ready to use.

Remember: Do not use your laptop while it is plugged in to save your battery life. When at home, remove the battery while it is fully charged and plug the AC adaptor directly to the wall outlet. It will still work without the battery as long as it is plugged directly to the wall socket.
