Re: Broken clip for black ink cartridge
Unfortunately, this is not an easy fix. To replace the ink cartridge holder, you would have to dissasemble the whole Print head/Carriage assembly. The when you put it back together , there are timing factors to be set. With printers so inexpensive, I would opt for a new unit.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe

refill of cartridge several times is not that advisable. time comes that ur cartridge will be damaged. possibility of damaged:
1. the circuit itself in the cartridge might be broken
2. overload of ink.
1. replace a new one or secure other cartridge w/ same spec of ur current cartridge.
Is there a metal wire (clip) hooked on black plastic in the ink carriage? If not, these are notorious for breaking the small plastic hook....when broken, the cartridge is not held in proper postion so printer won't recognize that the ink cartridge is installed......no replacement parts are available for this series of printers.
