Hello, my ipod 80gb classic. when plugged into power source is displaying battery and triangle with ! in it. says charging please wait. i dont know what i have to do.

Have you solved this problem yet? Hopefully this doesn't sound silly, but have you tried to reset it? Hold down the center circle button and the menu button at the same time until it goes off and restarts.

I dropped my ipod classic 80 gb. It can't be detected when i sync to my computer. I did a hard restart but it it says that my files will be deleted when i restore it with itunes. I dont wanna lose my files...

The only way to save the files is by connecting it to pc and storing them in a file. Try checking the usb connection inside the ipod. If there are any broken wires or solder joints, re-solder them or anything you can do to get it to connect.

Try connecting it, go to control panel, the ipod should be able to found on the I: drive.

Register

You can register it in iTunes when you first plug it in. You won't need to worry about country or anything like that, as the serial number is what Apple uses to determine country of origin for warranty work.
