Conia M580 DVD player has died, cannot open disc tray to retrieve DVD disc from player. Cannot unlatch the disc tray manually, as there's no pin-hole near the disc tray, unlike most (more expensive) DVD and CD players. The disc I'm trying to retrieve is worth more than the DVD player itself!!!

Easy... follow these instructions
  • unplug from the mains
  • take the cover off (3 screws on back panel, 1 screw each side, sticker on top front)
  • You will see the DVD disk in the player drive
  • Remove the plastic ******** top of the drive - 2 x small phillips screws
  • Lift out the DVD disk.... done.
