Facebook videos do not play

Facebook uses the Adobe Flash player to play their videos. Be sure you have the latest flash installed and that it is working. Just because videos may be playing on other sites doesn't mean flash is installed and working there. There are multiple types of videos out there. Native support for HTML5 instead of Flash is becoming popular, even on sites like Youtube. Try the link below to test if you have flash installed and that it is working. You could also try an alternate browser. Such as trying Chrome if you are on Firefox or IE.

How do i get my flash player to stop pausing every 2 seconds

Hi,
Flash Player is a software for viewing animations and movies using computer programs such as a web browser. If you encounter that your flash player pauses every 2 seconds, maybe that is not an error. Maybe, the video that you are watching is just buffering. My suggestion to that is just click pause first and let the video buffer. Once it is completed loading play it. But if it is still pausing, you may uninstall it on your computer and install an updated flash player. You may use this link to download the latest flash player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
I hope I answered your question.
Thanks a lot!!

I'm running Windows XP. Using IE8, the youtube videos won't play. There is no warning or anything, just the video is black and there is no play button. On Google chrome, there is no problem with playing...

Well Sunkengarden, the videos you are watching on YouTube or any such websites are the Flash Player Applications. That means, the Browser on which you are trying watch the videos, needs Flash Player Application to be installed on your computer. Such traditionally most widely used flash players are Adobe Flash Player and Microsoft Silverlight.
While you are using Google Chrome, there is no problem just because of Google Chrome already have in-built flash player within it. But the problem remains for IE or other Browsers.
Different Web-Browsers use different types of Adobe Flash Players (IE type or Non-IE type). So, for best results, I recommend you to install both the IE and Non-IE Adobe Flash Players on your computer to have all the browsers play the videos without any problem.
Download the Flash Players by clicking on the following links:
Hope this helps,

I have a R90L200 ereader..how to you install a flash player

Hi there,

You can download the popular ADOBE FLASH player here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP
This player will enable you to view flash websites and flash players online like youtube.

If you want a stand alone player that can play .FLV formats (video clips downloaded from youtube and the like), you can use Media Player Classic with XP Codec Pack. You can download it here http://www.free-codecs.com/download/XP_Codec_Pack.htm

Keep me posted.

How to download adobe flash player in a galaxy tab

Do this only if you are using the latest version of Android, i.e. 2.2 the Froyo version. The flash player won't work with any other previous version of Android. So don't try out any tricks to make it work.
And for the Samsung Galaxy S users, here is how you can upgrade to Froyo in Samsung Galaxy S.

Android has got the Flash player into its devices and you can play any flash videos, any flash movies and games through the mobile devices now. And for those who have the Froyo update in their mobiles, might be already getting the taste of the flash (or you can try it out by checking m.flash.com for any example flash videos and see if they load in your mobile).
For those who couldn't find it working, try installing the Flash player again. Here is how to install and use the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for Samsung Galaxy S -

Download the Flash Player .apk installation file from http://depositfiles.com/en/files/92ekade0n. (the link requires a password for you to be able to download the file. Password - androidadvices.com)

Install that flash player application in your android phone, as the screenshots below show the steps that would happen in the process. The flash player gets installed and you can check it by opening any flash site or m.flash.com just to check if any flash videos load.

Flash player dont played any vedios

Flash Player is for playing Flash files only and not any other video formats. Are you using the Flash Player plug -in or add-on for the browsers or you are using a standalone Flash Player?

Flash Player plug-in or add-on for browsers is for playing web flash content files. If you want to play any flash files eg .swf , then you can open-with the browsers.

Standalone flash player is used to open or view any flash files, it is not meant for web embedded flash files.

Hope it helps.
