Re: inserting CD

Sounds like something is jammed inside, it'll have to be opened and checked out by a nerd. Luck

When cd isinserted it does not start to play but show E-1 on screen

E1 = Disk is dirty, or is upside down. A disk has data other than CD-DA, MP3, or WMA has been loaded.

I'd try some other CD's, and if that doesn't work, I'd try one of those cheap CD lens cleaning kits. Try re-setting the whole deck (disconnected power).

If you receive an error reading or the cd ejects automatically briefly after being inserted, the headunit needs to be repaired or replaced.

Good luck.

Car cd player will not work

It sounds like it's not loading the disc propperly, it ejects immediatly yes? A mechanical loading fault.Try banging it as the disc loads..... not a cure but the knocking might dislodge something, it may have to come out and be fixed.

I have a pioneer deh-p7800mp and i dont know how insert the disc

there is a slot behind the screen when you push open the screen should drop down. put the cd into that slot when you do the screen will go back up. push open again the screen will drop and your cd will eject automatically.

2003 Ford Focus Blaupunkt Cd Player issue!!!!

I hav an 03 and it exhibited the same problems; on off on off nothing works. I discovered this repair 2 days ago and it works perfectly and I am one happy camper.

1. Start by pulling the main fuse for the radio (if you already haven't)
2. Re insert the fuse and turn the radio on (nevermind the on off sequence). Insert a music CD, it will take one.
3. Pull the fuse again, count to five and re insert fuse.
4. When the CD starts to play, use the menus to get down to the factory default settings and ask it to reset to factory.
5. And you are now working again. Or you should be. It basically is a processor and it operates just like your home PC whn it needs a reload. It searchs to the default drive which is the CD player.

Good Luck everyone!
