Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

It's not microphone ! I had same probelm, it depends on the phone you are using. Try with different phone model. For example, with Nokia N95 works perfectly (talk, audio, even voice dialing), with Nokia 6220c or N85 sucks...
Almost half of the phones that I tried had some issue, very similar to yours. Usually, you can hear everithing but person you talking to hears just loud noise

Can barely hear people when they call

The volume can only be accessed when you are in a call. Once you hear the call connecting or the other party has picked up, you will be able to change the volume. The volume control is the middle navigation key, use the left and right to control the volume.
