Thinkpad T60 2008-W19. I reinstalled XP on the machine and the card hasent worked since, Downloaded and installed latest driver from Lenovo, No luck there. Then reinstalled the original version of WinXP that the card was working under, no luck either. Should I try dual booting it with OSX or Ubuntu to check if it is the hardware or the OS that is to blame. If it is hardware related, how should i go about repairing it, Thanx

Maybe you installed wrong version.. i think so..
or check the volume settings or any settings that indicates for the sound setting..it could help if you check that...because you tell that you installed everything, means nothing is wrong...

Hi. first i change my hard disk and then i format it after formating the sound is not working so please help me to solve this problim my computer is IBM R60

you need to install the sound card driver to be able gain sounds on your pc. If you have the Cd with you, just run it then install sound driver.

If you don't have CD, download on this support site and specify the exact model.

No sound after format. IBM LENOVO R60

Hi there,

I have been looking around on the internet, and it looks like that you might need the "right" driver
The specific driver for your models HDA isn’t supported out there :-).

You should visit this page and download the latest drivers.

Sound device problem

Just go to IBM's support site and download the latest drivers for your machine, and use those (the ones with the most current date by them).
Good luck.
