Please see if you press any of the buttons it swtiches or on or if you receive a call..
another option is that you could remove the battery and reiinsert it..most devices restart..also check if the device has a reset button at the bottom, pressing that also starts the device(it does so on most PDAs and pocket pc phones)hope it helps!

Data

if you managed to turn the phone on, i can assume that you charged it back up again, if so, i cannot understand what the screen re aligning has to do with losing any data as the screen re-aligning is normally to do with setting up the touch screen so that when you touch a specific part of the screen, it knows exactly what you are wishing it to do regards the shortcut or menu. You should be able to collect any data or addresses using the software provided and a usb cable enabling you to sync and transfer all entries to your pc, if you have Vista this is can be done automatically when you connect as your pocket pc is instantly recognised.

Perform a Reset

Soft Reset
When you perform a soft reset, the device deletes any data that has not
been saved but saves any data that has been stored in memory. Try
performing a soft reset if the device does not respond when you tap the
display or press a button.
To perform a soft reset, use the stylus to press the reset button.

Hard Reset
NOTICE: When you perform a hard reset, you lose all the data stored on
your device.

Perform a hard reset if:
• You want to delete all the data stored on your device.
• You forget your password and need to clear it.
• Your device is experiencing severe operational problems and you have
already attempted a soft reset.
NOTICE: It is strongly recommended that you back up your data before you
perform a hard reset. See ActiveSync Help on your computer for more
information.
To perform a hard reset:
1 Press and hold the power button.
2 With the stylus, hold the reset button for about 2 seconds.
3 Follow the instructions on the screen.

If the handset is locked, frozen, or unresponsive, you can perform a master reset it using the hardware keys instead of the menu. A master reset restores the original factory settings and may erase all downloaded content, including ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available). To perform a master reset using hardware keys, follow these steps:

1. If the device is responding at all, back up your data before proceeding.

Note: The device must be turned on to synchronize or transfer files.

2. Turn off the device.

Note: If the device is unresponsive and does not turn off, remove and then reinsert the battery.

3. Press and hold the Home key and the Power key for at least 25 seconds, even if the Startup screen appears.

4. Release the keys when you see a black screen with a warning sign.

5. Press the Home key and the Power key again.

6. When the Android system recovery utility appears, use the trackball to scroll to and select Wipe data/factory reset.

7. Once the device finished the data wipe, select reboot system now.

I picked up a Fastora NAS-T4, but the previous owner no longer recalls the root password on the device. Is there anyway to reset the device to factory defaults? I see no 'reset' buttons available on it.

Turn off the NAS.
Press AND HOLD power button for about 30 secs.
That will force a hard reset and reset the unit to factory defaults. You will lose all data on drives that are plugged in at the moment. If they are in an ejected state, it may save your data, but I have not tried that.

My phone wont go past the att screen

I'm afraid you'll have to hard reset your device. Be warned that you'll loose all application you have installed, as well as your personal data. Anyway, I don't see any other option to overcome your present condition. Here it is, anyway:
Turn your device off. Then, press both the Up Navigation key and the power buttons, until the process starts, If a confirmation key is requested, try '0000'.

Hope you are able to sort your problems out.

Cheers! Carlos

My camera stop working on my lg ks 20. its just not opennig, stay black??

...it looks like a hardware problem with the camera device. Anyway as I adviced many times, a hard reset before running to a service center is a good choice, as there is still a chance that some software issue is behind. But remember - before hard reseting always backup your data (phone numbers, emails...), otherwise you will lost them:

1. Turn off the LG KS-20 completely (do this by pressing and holding the power button and wait for the prompt).
2. Press and hold these three buttons–volume down, Call and power–till the LED (this is beside the front camera) flashes.
3. Release the buttons. That same LED should flash blue/red/green and power up.
4. The KS20 should be in a clean state.
5. Now try the camera function - if it still doesnt run then go to LG service center
