I got a Trax350 and it just keeps shutting down. It comes up Warning: The application failed to start last time. Do you want to reset to factory defaults and lose all your POIs, tracks and settings? YES NO. It doesn't matter which you choose, it just shutsdown. Has never worked. Do I just send it back.. groan.

I have a TRAX350 and it worked straight out of the box just fine. No SD memory card required for basic operation.

My problem is keep ask me insert the memory card or insert sd card

Inserting a memory card

The SD memory card contains maps and navigation software. It also stores saved

destinations, routes, and logbook entries.

• Insert the memory card provided into the slot on the side of the device. Press the
card into the device until it locks into place.

If you don't have the card that came with it, you can buy one. It takes a standard "SD Card" (compatible with MMC/SD) I believe the original card was only 64Mb, which you should be able to find on eBay for $1.

Here is a complete manual for your unit: http://support.navigonusa.com/_pdf/manual/Manual_2100_2120_English.pdf

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa! We would sure appreciate a 4 "thumbs-up" rating for this answer. Happy holidays!

I need maps for my Trax350 for UK - where do I buy and how do I upload to the device? I am in NZ

Hi Paul61101 more specifically, you can order maps for the UK HERE, but its rather salty...179.95 ...thats a direct link to the page for you to order the UK maps..

you should get a SD card and a CD, put the cd in your computer and it will auto run, then follow the instructions, but mainly you should just be able to stick in the sd card and reboot it, then change the region to the uk

if you need a copy of your manual, you can download a copy HERE for your trax350

let me know if you need more help

I have an A2265FF all in one navigation unit in my ford focus, the SD card had route 66 installed on the card which I updated and since then I have lost the files for loading the navigation, I have...

I can understand your problem, this problem arises with new SD card.

So, please copy Navione folder to memory card root directory, enter the directory, use Notepad to open Loader.ini to edit, enter your correct path, for example: \ Storage Card \ NaviOne \ NaviOne.exe save you, run to enter Loader.exe navigation procedures.

I'm sure it will work out for you. The error message shows similar indication. So, do it and load your route installed. It will work out surely.

With Regards,
Shyny

Not enough memory and shut down

I'm really only giving an educated guess but as a technician with 26 years experience I suspect that either you have a faulty memory chip or the firmware which runs under Microsoft operating system may be corrupted. My Trax 350 works like a charm doing exactly what you have done WITHOUT a memory card.

Try push RESET which is at the bottom next to the SD card slot with a paper clip. If that doesn't work I suggest taking it back under warranty.

BTW, I ended up "pinching" the useless 32 MB SD card ( too small so I replaced it with 2GB ) that came with the camera I bought my son. More than enough size for me and my son couldn't care less!
