Can you please give me some of the ideas for the family photography?

The best option for the family photography I would suggest you is to appoint the family photographer. It is the best because they have the experience of how to take the photos and how to edit it in the best way.
I had also appointed a family photographer for my brother's wedding. The best I would suggest you is the Boston family photographer. They are the best and masters in their field. To know more you can follow the "Mat Tam Photography". Just try it you will be amazed to see their perfection and creativity.

I'm just looking for a better tutorial. A tutorial better than the manual provided by Canon. Any suggestions? Thanks,

The camera manual does a good job of telling you what the various controls and menu options do. It does not do such a good job of telling you why you'd want to do those things. Your local library or bookstore will have books and videos on introductory photography that will tell you why you want to do those things but of necessity can't tell you how to do those things on every camera in the world.

There are also some semi-generic books, such as "Canon PowerShot Digital Field Guide" by Michael Guncheon.

Best digital camera.....of good brand...... with maximum functions.... in range of 4000-5000

The best digital camera for YOU depends on what YOU want to do with it. The best camera for sports photography may not be the best camera for studio photography. The best camera for landscape photography may not be the best camera for taking pictures of your family.

As for the best digital camera in a price range, you need to specify the currency. The best camera between 4000 and 5000 Japanese yen is not the same as the best camera between 4000 and 5000 US dollars, for example.

If you have any specific questions, please feel free to respond to this reply.

How does the light affect to the picture? Rules or

Photography is the process of making pictures (graph) using light (photo)...
Light takes the most important role on produce nice pictures

There`re no fixed rules about photography, it`s an art so nobody have rights to say that the photo is good or bad...

During rainy day, you should prepare camera`s water-proof jacket or an umbrella to protect it against water. Some expensive cameras have been equipped with water-proof material.

Which book would be best for a beginner w/ the D3000 to learn the camera

There are a lot of good books. What's best for you would depend on many factors, including how much experience you have or don't have with photography in general and with other Nikons or SLRs.

Below are some recommendations. You might want to browse through a good bookstore and take a look at some of them.

David Busch, "David Busch's Nikon D3000 Guide to Digital SLR Photography"

Julie Adair King, "Nikon D3000 For Dummies"

Jeff Revell, "Nikon D3000 : From Snapshots to Great Shots"

Jon Sparks, "Nikon D3000: the Expanded Guide"

J. Dennis Thomas, "Nikon D3000 Digital Field Guide"

Darrell Young, "Mastering the Nikon D3000"

In addition, there is a free video tutorial on Nikon's web site:

Whats the best economical lens to use for indoor photograph with

If you are new to photography in general and especially SLR photography I would suggest holding off on buying any lenses besides the 18-55mm.

The reason I suggest not buying extra lenses just yet is coz you need to get to know your camera and if you are new to SLR photography then you need to get your fundamentals right. Sure the 400D will let you shoot in full auto mode but you will really not learn much doing that and certainly not be making the most of your camera in that process and that will extend to your new lenses too.

Get used the the control, the 18-55 is a great little cheap lens with the pop up flash it will work great for most family pics. The 55-200mm is a new "cheap" lens, its been marketed as letting you go beyond 55mm thats why it starts at 55mm goes to 200mm.

Hope this helps you...
