Camera is probably not reading the card but its internal memory. Therefore you can only take 3 pic due to its small capacity compared to the memory card.

How-ever, resetting the camera to original factory settings does not solve this. Try to upload pics from card to computer via some method other than using camera cradle and its usb cable,
and then format the memory card. (if you do not salvage the pics before the formatting of card -all is lost). After formatting the memory card things should be back to normal. Othervise there is something wrong with the camera itself.

Samsung s1030 digital camera keep showing memory full but have inserted new sdhc card how do i clear this as i cannot take any pics

Clear it by putting in a compatible memory card. The S1030 works with SD cards. Your 8GB SDHC card in not compatible. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Display reads "images recorded in internal memory" but there are none and I can't take more than 4 pictures until the camera says the memory is full. Also the memory card says it is full after 7 pictures,...

hi, the memory card you are using is to small for the camera it has not got enough memory on it you need to get at least a 1gb memory card or 2gb memory this will then allow you to take between 500 and 1000 pictures the 16mb card you have in is not worth using it will only hold a couple of pictures so go to the well known auction site and buy a 2gb memory card of the same type such as sd card or micro sd or mini sd it should tell you on the 16mb card what type it is then just buy the same type but with either 1gb or 2gb or even 4gb of memory this will then let you take 1000s of pictures

the 16mb card is no good in your camera get a bigger card and your problem will be solved

let me know if you have any problems with the new card ok

Memory card saying "full" when its not

Your problem is that you are using an incompatible type of memory card.

Your camera was designed to use SD cards with a maximum capacity of 2GB. It cannot use larger capacity models, and is also incompatible with the later SDHC cards.

SDHC cards are the same shape and will fit your camera, but have differences beneath the skin and so won't work properly in your camera. Without any memory card in place your camera uses internal memory; it's then only by lucky chance that your camera has sufficient SDHC compatibility to allow you to transfer the internal memory image to the SDHC card when you subsequently insert it into your camera.

Your only solutions are to either use an SD card with a maximum capacity of 2GB or to replace the camera with a later model which is fully SDHC compliant.

I have a Z1015 IS kodak camera and inserted a 128 MB memory card in it. I shot 25 pictures when it told me the card was full. Yet I used the card on a kodak 135 camera and it took over 200 pictures. Am I...

Sounds like you have the picture quality on the Z camera set to a higher setting than on the 135. Higher Quality photos are much larger and will fill up a small 128MB card very quickly. Get a 2GB card.

Hello. You need to buy a SD card to store your pictures on.This card slides into a slot on the side of the camera. You may have a 2GB limit check with Kodak or your manual before you buy anything larger. The 2GB card will store several hundred pics at 7 megapixil size.

Does "memory card full" mean you have to purchase another for canon powershot sd750 or can you erase?

You can either erase the pictures or transfer them to a computer using the supplied USB cable or remove the flash memory and insert directly into the computer's sd card port.

Some of the older cameras will not take the bigger cards. You can use the bigger card with your computer to store your photos.
