you want to connect to net through gprs. open seetings in ur mobile in tat u can find connectivity.turn packet data on. u want download gprs settins from your service provider
Pls recharge your airtel no: with suitable GPRS plan.Go to SETTINGS>CONNECTIVITY>DESTINATIONS>INTERNET>CHOOSE YOUR AIRTEL GPRS SETTIN>[eg:mobile office]>create packet data connection> pls edit your homepage as http://www.google.com and ACCESS POINT NAME as airtelgprs.com>AUTHENTICATION as normal>and USE ACCESS POINT AS automatically.[YOU KNOW WHY YOU CANT USE GPRS IN NIGHT.SOME TIMES YOUR ONE OF THIS SETTIN WILL BE CHANGE {use access point automaticall changes to after confirmation thats why you cannot use GPRS}]. AND IN THE MAIN WEB BROWSER >SETTINGS>GENERAL>INTERNET AS UR DEFAULT...AND IS THERE ANY PROBLEM CONNECTIN DO THE SETTING. AND IF YOU DONT CONNECT SWITCH OFF AN ON TO REFRESH YOUR PHONE

hi... first change ur connectivity settins into mass storage if u dnt have ur cells p.c. suite... menu-settins-connectivity-p.c. settins- mAss storage........ for usin gprs thru vodafone connection u shud have a minimum balance of 10.. have it more than 25( my suggestion)... clear ur cacthes and history b4 tryin it..... and u can also try by changin ur browsin profile... if u r not clear con tact me in [email protected]
jus b clear whether ur cells internet connection is not workin( gprs ) or wi-fi.... if its wi-fi, then u have to save ur wi-fi settins b4 usin it... not lyk laptops cells dnt get settins automatically... u cant use unknown wi-fi without knowin its settins........
Ask your service provider to give you:
IP address,
Proxy setting,
Proxy port Number,
and confirm if the GPRS is activated on your number.
Then configure your phone as per these settings and enjoy surfing.
