Question about Air Conditioners
I need a wiring connection diagram for an Emerson #S63CXSJA-4114, 1 hp, 120/230 volt, 3450 rpm. The terminals are marked 1, 2, 3, 4. Is this motor reversable through wiring changes ? Also, what changes do I make to changefrom 120v to 230v ?

Line is L1 L2 L3 to line voltage. wire nut 4-7 together wirenut 5-7 together and wirenut 6-9 together connect 123 to line for low voltage 123 together 456 together 679 together. This works on all dual voltage 3 phase motors. Some of the newer Daytom motors have a plug that you just turn for changing voltage. Rudty

green is ground. white is common. blue and orange are hi speed/low speed. brown goes to the capacitor.
Both motors should have the wire diagram on the side of the motor.

SOURCE: fan motor replacement
with the model number the supplier shoud be able to tell you what you need but some sell universal variable speed motors with long shafts so trim to fit might come in to play

If the blower motor is indeed 120volts, and you don't have a meter to see if you are getting power to it from the board, if you are handy, pull out the motor and apply 120 volts to the same leads that go to the board, carefully! If it runs, more then likely, the blower board is faulty. Let me know, and we can go further into it if not.
