The rinse agent will go below the soap dispensor, remove the screw top where a light should be shining through

Where to put rinse aid in cdw10 dishwasher

Rinse aid makes dishes sparkle more as it improves their drying. The rinse aid container is situated on the inside of the door. You should fill the rinse aid container when indicator lights up on the container and the rinse aid indicator light on the control panel flashes. You can use simple vinegar as a rinse aid (white is best but apple or malt is fine).

Adding rinse aid.
To open the dispenser, turn cap anticlockwise. Take care when you pour in the rinse aid to avoid it overflowing. You can regulate the amount of rinse aid used by the dishwasher, move the adjuster which you will find under lid. The amount of rinse aid needs to be increased if the dishes appear dull or you can see circular stains. The amount of rinse aid needs to be reduced if the dishes are sticky or see white streaks.

You can choose from six different positions. It is normally set to 4.

Rinse aid pours out of compartment

Maybe you are putting it in the wrong compartment ? Powder in the top liquid in the bottom , you can also adjust the rate of flow for the rinse aid . This manual explains it all .

Cheers

Dish drawer not drying dishes

According to the manual, there is a cooperative effort with the rinse aid solution and the non eco mode. There nothing that says a drier circuit exists and if they are not drying then it is rinse aid or loading issues. However if you look behind the kick panel of the machine there is a plastic envelope with the technicians information on testing.

I have a new stainless steel Samsung dishwasher. It doesn't seem to be drying properly. Dishes and dishwasher still very wet after cycle is completed.

Hello

Your dishwasher has been designed to use a liquid rinse aid. Pouring a liquid rinse aid into the proper recepticle in your dishwasher when you add dish detergent greatly improves drying performance. You can further improve drying performance by selecting the Sanitize option, in addition to the other options you've selected, and increasing the water temperature. For Best Results, use Jet-Dry Turbo

Spots and film form in your dishwasher's rinse cycle, when detergents are already down the drain. FINISH® JET-DRY® Rinse Agent works in the rinse cycle, lowering the surface tension of water and causing it to sheet. Better rinsing results in less spots and film.

If these recommendations do not improve drying time, please contact Samsung Customer Care

Bosch dishwasher...streaks dishes, glasses and inside of washer. No change of detergent helps

Could be too much rinse aid....look at page 6 of the manual for models with rinse aid adjustment electronically or for models with manual setting , set the rinse aid dial to 2 and experiment. If not enough rinse aid causes problems too If set too low crank it up to 2 for manual models or factory setting electronically is 5 Good luck Model number would help Always state model number when posting enquiries. Not cleaning dishes as well as when i bought it four years ago

Apart from checking if the filter plate etc are clean and the rinse-aid dispenser is consuming rinse aid there is something else you can do.

Buy Finish dishwasher cleaning kit from super market (one for each drawer) and run the drawers one at a time as instructed on the kit.

This should help.

Position for rinse aid

Pl refer the user manual. Rinse aid is not a day to day to fill. It has a different location. Open the door and see whether you get any box visible!

The dishwasher was full of soap suds but most of the water drain

Suds? If you use dishwashing detergent you shouldn't get suds. If a small amount of sink type dish soap is left on a dish before loading it into the dishwasher this can happen. I would use several rinse and drain cycles with the racks and dishes removed until the suds are gone.

Never use any type of liquid dish soap made for sinks. The same thing that makes suds in the sink will make even more in the dish washer.

Hope this helps!
